I have a similar unit that I take hunting, it usually allows me to get through the day with both my phone and tablet. I also have a battery bank as a backup, but never had to use it.

If it is a plain stock, it will take rattle can spray just fine. Just know that it won't last too long, but it can be done very effectively. No, it is not cerakote, though that will work much better, but guys have been doing this for decades. We did many of our M-4s back in the day to break up the silhouette, and would look pretty decent if you took your time. Just google or DDG some pics, most are camo and look great, so plain ole black should come out great too. The good part is that you can change it out if it just doesn't do it for you. You can also opt for a better paint, like ceracoat or duracoat, but still DIY. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=rattlecan+camo+rifle+stock&t=brave&iax=images&ia=images This stock is actually black.

Anyone ever do bulk transfers?
Omega replied to noid's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
See if they would accept a CD with those files on it with the paper forms, at least the fingerprint files. -

Why not do electronic fingerprint and photo files. -
Yes indeed, let us enjoy your talent without spoiling it with any of the other stuff. Loved the Big Bang episode, hope that was his personality shining through. RIP!

Kind of, a story I read is that she received a text saying I'm Sorry Mom, nothing else. But she immediately calls the school?? Sounds to me like there were other signs. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/georgia-school-shooters-haunting-3-word-last-text-to-mom-prompted-her-terrified-plea-to-school/ar-AA1qcYL8

Misleading, I am pretty sure the dad did not buy the rifle for his son to use in a shooting. Is he liable, so far I am leaning no. I have weapons all around my house, loaded with one in the pipe. They are for home protection, makes no sense to make it more difficult to get to and use in case I need them for their intended use. The Christmas present, I look at it like this, if someone makes an unfounded accusation, which if there was evidence the FBI would have been more interested in a follow-up. The dad, my speculation, probably thought it was BS, so acted right for months with no other issues. Probably already had plans to buy him the AR and he seen no reason not to. As to them coming for our guns, when they come right out and say it, I believe them. I will not get surprised when they start rounding them up, I am paying attention and fighting it as much as I possibly can, so will not become complacent just because it hasn't happened yet. We have already allowed too many restrictions on law-abiding Americans, I don't care how many laws they pass to keep it out of the hands of criminals, but it should have 0 effect on law-abiding citizens, only criminals. It seems that the criminals have more rights than we do.

I'm all for getting rid of the NFA all together, but I'm ok with semi-auto, I now have to pay for my own ammo and semi-auto is expensive enough for me. Now if they allow silencers, I may get some, but not so much for hunting, but range work to keep the noise down for the neighbors.

Well then just energize the beads, and use a remote to power it on and off.
-
Heck, I would buy those bead curtains for every door, where every third or so bead would be magnetic.

These guys run the gamut from amateur to expert so it's best to add as much security you can to your devices and accounts. That being said, it gets difficult keeping up with hard passwords so I use a password program. I switched over to ProtonPass from Lastpass because it still lets you access it from a website as well as the app. LastPass used to do that but has switched to a paid version to do that. With that passwords that you can generate can be as complex as you want and it can be human readable or just a bunch of gibberish. My info has been stolen numerous times so all my financial stuff has two factor authentication so they would need to have my phone as well as my password to get in.

If length isn't an issue, a 14.5" barrel won't do much for you except maybe a little less fps. The twist is important for heavier bullets though, 1/7 is all I buy when buying barrels. Having said that, my 10.5" barrels do quite well and are pretty accurate. 10.5 is the shortest I have built, though I have an 8" barrel somewhere but it's probably not going to be built unless I run out of things to do. I have a S&W flattop too, and am not sure the twist on that one, but that was my first AR and didn't pay attention to those things back then because 55 grn was probably the heaviest bullet back then, at least the heaviest I had seen.

Yea, comms was my first guess. They did get into his phone and probably his computers, though I don't recall if they reported on the PCs.
-
Well, we do have millions of them here.
-
Yeah, hadn't heard of him either. But the FBI certainly announced there were 3 encrypted accounts and he says he gets his information from either FBI sources or FBI FOIA requests. I wonder if they mean crypto? It's supposed to be anonymous with digital crypto keys.

What do guys think, this guy have any merit?
