  1. Nice, looks like a good skinner, good profile.
  2. You won't find those prices, but Midsouth has had them and various powders throughout the shortages of and on. What are you trying to get out of the 300Blk, and what powders have you tried so far?
  3. You can cut and paste, but on the lower left it will pop up a link to convert it to plain text. Using it will make the text normal IMO a handgun is just to get to your rifle, but in a pinch can make a difference, no mater the caliber. Even the lowly .22 has been used to good affect on the most dangerous targets. Bella Twin, the .22 Used to Take the 1953 World Record Grizzly
  4. Yes, but now the 9mm will "blow your lungs out".
  5. Since this landed on their lap, they could, and IMO should have issued an injunction until the full appeals court could take the case on. If the lower courts don't get to this, many will have to register their affected weapons those that don't will be subject to arrest, and those that want/need one will be unable to get one. That, IMO, is the reason to issue an injunction, it would cause irreparable harm to thousands. I don't see that as a knee jerk reaction.
  6. I always recommend the Lee Turret press for beginners and budget minded folks. It loads great ammunition for general plinking, hunting, and even some local competition shooting, though obviously not for money competition shooters, they have sponsors that can afford much better equipment. I'd start with a complete kit, then upgrade components once you figure out what you're doing and know what you want to upgrade. https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item/0000690304/classic-turret-press-kit

  8. Wait, what side is TN on, do I need to move west?
  9. I went hunting and the truck said 60deg at 5am, thought; not good, too much energy for the predicted storm, but though it would be thunderstorms and maybe some straight line winds.
  10. Did you use a regular Form 1? Mine just has a spot for approved or disproved and a block they can write any conditions, which they left blank.
  11. Yea, about a 10 mile track right through Clarksville, 3 deaths last I seen, and a bunch of homes and businesses damaged.
  12. Care to share his name? And as @gregintennmentioned, invite him to create an account, or heck set up a meet and greet with a few members to discuss the proposals that are being discussed, because a sliding scale just doesn't cut it.
  13. Wasn't there a new member here asking basically the same thing here recently? The link to them is blocked for me currently but will check it out when I get home. This article is trying to paint the impromptu legislative session as a negative. I highly doubt they would have been happy if some of those initiatives were put in place, while we would definitely not be happy if others were.
  14. Legally, absolutely nothing. There is no reason to add cost to a weapons purchase, or gift, unless for whatever reason, you are not sure of the buyer's or gift recipient's ability to have weapons.
  15. May have been a custom lower and anti-walk pins, most lowers do not have any recesses due to how the standard pins sit flush with sides. This one is molded plastic with built in recesses for the bugle-head screws.
  16. Anti-rotation pins? Anti-walk pins
  17. There is more need for drivers training than handgun training IMO, and driving is a privilege that can have legislation put in place to force the training without violating the constitution.
  18. I was pretty sure the rule would not stand, so I registered four of my lowers and will put regular stocks on two of them and leave the Maxim braces on the other two, but will keep an eye out for rods that can give a longer LOP, though they are not too bad as-is. I am not out anything except postage and an fingerprint ink pad, these were purchased through an FFL, so they already had my info (as if they didn't anyway) but now I am up $400 from the .gov. I am not opposed to registering, like I said they already have my info, but am highly opposed to paying a tax to exercise my rights, the only reason I even got a Concealed Carry Permit was for reciprocity. If the HPA ever passes, I will make one, but will not pay a tax to have one.
  19. I have rarely heard of anyone ever saying, yea I noticed the signs but didn't say anything. Maybe it's from not wanting to be blamed for not reporting, or from the shame they may feel from not doing so. It is a discussion that needs to be raised, because many of the actions she may have taken beforehand can be attributed to many of us on any given day, such as buying weapons, weapons training, and other tactical behavior. Which is why red-flag laws are so dangerous IMO, it can have disastrous consequences if LEO comes busting down a door in the middle of the night at any security minded person's home.
  20. I also learned that she felt that she could or should of been caught before the attack, and I for one would like to know how, and/or what she had done to merit that.
  21. I feel we have compromised way too many times, there is no meeting with the other side, I am out.
  22. Sounds like the left is not happy about this disclosure.
  23. Seeing as they are not enforcing anything, might as well be "legal". But if you are in one of the organizations that are part of the lawsuits, the stay applies to you. I am a member of GOA, so covered, but they gave me free stamps for four of mine so they are now full SBRs and other weapons will be wearing the braces.
  24. I did. I had thought this was more of a retaliation thing against the school for her perceived treatment, but learned that she was just a cold hearted bitch that had swallowed the current socialist messaging hook line and sinker.
