  1. Man I would like a 82A1 but I don't have that kind of money to let go of. Not many of us around these parts I don't think
  2. I have land I can shoot on. I would love to have a Barrett but just a little more than I can spend ie ( what my wife will let me spend) That is one that's hard to pick up and blend with the collection without her noticing lol
  3. For some reason I have been really studying entry level 50 BMG
  4. Kills me how they kept saying thirteen guns like they couldn't believe they had such a big arsenal enough to arm an army lol! Probably would have acted less about ISIS stealing a Nuke. I guess if 13 is crazy most of us could arm a small country.
  5. Tell me what how it is. Probably will be awhile before I can run by. Just had knee surgery.
  6. Congrats! Every time you feel the urge put the money you would have spent on a can in a jug. By yourself some ammo or save up and buy a firearm with the money. Probably be amazed how fast that jar will fill up.
  7. Ok I have had three Fords that all have done this. So don't say BS unless you have driven all diesel trucks. I have had other friends of mine have same issue so glad yours doesn't. We don't have emissions here where I live and dealers take them all the time to resale here. I'm sorry your stuck with all the power sucking equipment on your truck.
  8. Down here no problem with a dealership taking them traded one off couple years ago and they will still do warranty work. Boy if the EPA really went out they would be fining thousands of people in this state. Even in your neck of the woods I know plenty of people without some bolt back on to pass test and yank them off again. It is dangerous running with a DPF etc when it does a burn off and you lose up tp 75% power when pulling a load you have to pull off the road sometime to let it Re-gen
  9. Just have to live in a town that doesn't do emissions and cut all that stuff off. Love my diesel truck.
  10. Nice cans! Is that weird to say to a guy. I have gotten a bug myself have the parts to build my first can. I am just a little overwhelmed on how to do my first form 1. Im sure its not as bad as I think but there are so many things I have read and watched that my head is spinning.
  11. I'm going to Dr Daniels in the boro been a great experience so far. A lil farther than nashville
  12. A blast from the past forgot about that classic lol. Nothing more manly truck driving and arm wrestling throw in a gun or two and explosion perfect movie
  13. I have one nice wide piece left if anyone local could use it longer than what I have on wall and as wide as the bigger one on wall. Probably not worth a drive or anything lol
  14. My wife has used quite a bit of reclaimed wood in the house and she is the one that saved the old barn doors. We have beams from a building in Chattanooga from the 1840's in the new house. Thanks HGTV lol.
  15. Thanks my only space I have in the new house to call my own.She can close the door lol
  16. Thanks they where my great uncles passed to my grandfather then passed to me. Wanted to display them some how like they did before me.
  17. Used some old barn door wood to display a couple rifles that where handed down to me. Thought I would throw in my old pistol and spurs. Wife thinks its a lil over the top LOL.
  18. Here are a couple pictures I took sorry they are cell phone pic's
  19. Thanks didn't know I could do that on gunbroker. I have an account never knew you could. The gun has a 26" barrel and is almost perfect almost looks like you just pulled it off a rack at the store. He had someone years ago tell him $500 but i figured probably $350ish range myself. I hate to see it sold.
  20. My dad is thinking about parting with his shotgun to fund another purchase and I have no idea where to start on value. Its a 1958 Remington 878 Automaster 12 ga. It is pretty much flawless and hasn't been shot very much. I really would like to hang on to it but he really wants to sell. Any idea best place for me to look up the value?
  21. Thanks I'll see if I can find the video where the guy makes a complete circle. I just got some measurements off line and sorta winged it. The bottom plate is two pieces. The grooves are cut into the top one before it is put together. Used a 2" wood working bit to drill two holes and connected `with a saws all on each slot. Just did with hand tools would have been better if I had access to some real wood working tools. The threaded galvanized pipe is from Home Depot with the base plates. you can google corner gun rack and look at images and get some of the dimensions. I should have taken pic's during the steps. Here it is in my room. Waiting on guns when I move.
  22. After 28 days do a moisture test and see if its right for a coating. Also can put plastic down before pour as well.
