  1. One thing this does and the main reason i'm all for having a state gun is that it makes a "statement" to the people of Tennessee and the country that Tennessee and Tennessean's are pro-2nd Amendment. Read some of the comments posted in the Nashville Scene article Oh Shoot posted, control freak liberals hate it. Passing this sends a message to them pretty much saying Tennessee is a pro-gun state, don't like it then move to California. I know there's a lot more legislation we would like to see passed but i'll keep saying it, Tennessee is far far better than many states when it comes to the 2nd. Amendment, just write your Reps to improve the laws. I bet many people complaining have never even emailed their Reps once. Personally, I think it's a proud moment to officially have a state gun and another reason I think the Barrett was a good choice is because it's one of the most controversial guns which makes the statement even stronger.   I think i'll email Ronnie Barrett and congratulate him and give him an idea for another business opportunity, M82 Tennessee State Rifle T-shirts and hats. And he owes me one of each for the idea.  :)
  2.   Well i'm a Titan's fan, voted for Rubio so I need a win for something every now and then.  :)
  3.   The Barrett .50 Cal. State Rifle Of Tennessee.   We win, you loose.  NAA  NAADEE NAAA NAAA.   :biglol:  :bowrofl:   :no1:  :usa:      :woohoo:  :taunt:  :tough:
  4.   The DA has got to add another charge, the POS caused him to have that fatal stroke.
  5.   And kids. Also windows can be broken easily with a weapon, glass flying in your face would be a big distraction. I am a person who looks at my mirrors often, in parking lots, atm's etc., Of course that's exercising situational awareness for crime but someone coming from behind road raging I will see and prepare before they get to my door, In a vehicle, you're at a disadvantage from anyone who is behind you, it's not easy doing a 180 in a car seat, if someone wants to do me harm I would rather them be right at my door.
  6.   Yea I would say he isn't around anyone who knows about guns, at least handguns, it's not what I would choose. I would let them choose for themselves after having them fire several at a good range with a good instructor and have them take advanced classes, have a range day a month for practice, have employee competitions. Of course first I would have to be a rich businessman.
  7.   I remember when Kennesaw passed that law, it was really a protest law because Chicago passed a total handgun ban that same year I believe. BTW Chicago, how did that work out for you?
  8.   Just thinking, if they did enforce that law it would really suck for a felon to live there, talking about damned if you do, damned if you don't.
  9.   The news said they are taking him off the breathing machine today so they have decided he's already gone I guess. They also said POS might be facing some kind of murder charge later.
  10.   Because of the circumstance of him having a stroke, sadly a DA can't prove premeditated murder. My hope is that he will at least serve the maximum for manslaughter. The POS is 53 so 30+ years in a prison he's likely he wouldn't leave unless it's in a box. Also sadly he would probably make a plea deal and only get about 5 and probation.    Also it should have been obvious to the POS that Bobby was an old man, it's takes a real piece of human garbage and coward to attack someone who you know can't physically defend themselves.
  11.   I just came back from the Smoke Shop and talked to a couple of his renters, they said he is in a coma and his breathing machine is kicking on more and more. They said he is getting worse by the day. They said from the witnesses all he did was go too slow for that POS, that POS swerved in front of him and locked his brakes, got out and opened his door and took a swing at him. They said the witnesses said Bobby tried to drive around him clipping the POS's back bumper, stopped and fell out of his car unconscious.  If Bobby dies from this which seems what will happen, I wished he would have been able to put a couple of .38's in POS's chest before he passed out.
  12.   I know Tennessee needs some improvements but I am very thankful I don't live in many other states. It's a shame the man/victim in the story was old and in fragile health, if he didn't have the stroke he might have been able to save himself and rid society of a scumbag.
  13.   Tactically it's a good idea to keep your doors locked, just keep that in mind in case you need a quick exit of the vehicle but, weather or not you keep your doors locked, it's still 100% the thug car jacker or road rager's fault if they get shot and killed. I wont lecture, dude should have had his door locked but I will lecture, punk shouldn't have forced his door open. It's 100% the criminals fault.
  14. http://www.newschannel5.com/news/road-rage-incident-sends-1-to-hospital   My friend called me tonight, we knew the victim, he is a 78 year old long time Kingston Springs man who owns a lot of property just off I-40. Bersaguy might know who he is. Anyway my friend told me that the victim had a massive stroke and from what he heard probably wont pull through this. I don't know the details of what happened but too bad the scumbag who opened the door to attack an old man didn't get shot. We also knew the victim often carried a S&W snubbie on him, guess he was too fragile healthwise to do anything. If/when the victim dies, I hope they charge this scumbag with manslaughter. Don't know if that's the proper charge but i'm sure he will be charged with an extra charge, Oh Shoot probably knows what charge they can charge him with, he obviously caused the man to stroke out from the fear and stress of the situation. We also know his son who doesn't seem like the type to go on a vendetta if Scarboro isn't charged with manslaughter. Thinking about this I know that in Tennessee's self defense code there is a defense for using deadly force, aggravated carjacking, and forcing open someones vehicle door to carjack or assault should apply. Someone forces my door open i'm just going to assume they are armed with a weapon and intend to kill me, in other words, my plan is shooting several times in the chest.
  15.   Well it's the media. Just proves college doesn't always make someone smart.
  16.   Can't help but to think politically these days, it's tragic and sad and right now i'm sure for the families that the motives don't matter. As soon as I heard about it I thought about how fast Obama will jump on this for an opportunity to spew his anti-gun politics. I know it's sad to think that way but it's the reality of the times and rest assured that we will hear from Obama today about it. Well not we, as soon as I see his face on TV he gets the auto mute button from me. And I do feel bad for the families, I can't know how that feels, I and all of us have lost someone before, we know how it feels but the shock of a loved being murdered in a senseless way by some lowlife psycho is a feeling I don't know and of course hope never know.
  17. I always liked this old saying, don't know where it came from.
  18.   From the article:    Going to "assume" here but I would say he is doing burglaries also to buy all his drugs, which the best scenario for this lowlife would be extermination during the commission of a burglary. Saves money, court time, space and oxygen.
  19.   It's already started.   You can bet the farm that if Cruz is the nominee the DNC and Clinton Mafia "WILL" find a way to deem Cruz is ineligible to be POTUS even if he wins a huge majority over Hillary in popular and electoral votes. The sad thing is, Americans will allow her to do it. I already voted for Rubio, don't know what will come of it but it's done. I know Trump has a lead in most polls but if you add Rubio and Cruz's numbers together they easily beat Trump.
  20.   Heard a story on the internet so of course it has to be true but I can see this happening. Guy has a hangfire on a revolver, pulls the trigger again and after the cylinder rotated and fired the new round the hangfire round decided to fire. That could be unpleasant.
  21.   If Bernie wins we have lost for sure, every living person in the USA weather they know it or not.
  22.   Winning side of what/who? Did you root for the Broncos or something?
  23.   To carry in a truck or take out a truck?
  24.   Did you read some of the comments from that Nashville Scene article? It's got their liberal readers peeing in their panties over it. That's another good reason to honor the Barrett.
