  Of course my opinion is that every citizen no matter who they are or used to be, if not a convicted felon or declared by a court and doctors(plural) to be mentally unstable has a right to carry a firearm. No special classes of people. Every state infringes on that right to a degree but NJ just craps all over it like a few other states. I really wish someone would confront Christie about that, he claims that's the state legislature which is bull feces, it's obvious he's okay with NJ gun laws or he would have fought the state legislature over it in the past. He may have conveniently vetoed a bill or two AFTER he decided to run for POTUS to fool people but most of us know his true colors, a North Eastern liberalish politician.   Edit: It would be preferable if Christie just went home after tomorrow and we didn't have to hear his name anymore. New Jersey citizens are paying the consequences of who they elect.

  If Tubby stays in the race till Super Tuesday I bet that will be brought up when they get to states where 2nd. Amendment issues are important.

I may stop by my agents office today and ask him about how much would they pay for stolen or fire damaged guns without listing anything, I feel perfectly comfortable asking him because he's a pro-gunny himself and will understand my asking. Farm Bureau was great after the tornado in 2012, they listed things and paid to repair them I never asked for. My roof wasn't that old then, he insisted that the damaged texture of the shingles from the hail was enough to replace the roof, I didn't argue but it seemed like he was eager to give me money, even painted the cedar siding too.

  So if I read the bill right that the OP posted, it would be mandatory to list all firearms? Sounds like a back door registration. Well, it doesn't sound like it, it is a firearms registration. I have a photo copy with serial numbers of my firearms on a disk in case they are stolen but no one else has that. I guess that Farm Bureau would just have to trust me being truthful about my guns if they were stolen, at least in a fire the metal would still exist to prove you had them. My personal agent in Kingston does know I own a MAK 90, that's because he has one also. :) Anyway, there will NEVER be any list of any information about what, how many, serial numbers etc of any of my firearms given to any insurance company unless of course they are stolen, but not before that.    P.S. If there's a fire I will tell the firemen there's boxes and cans of ammo in the house for obvious reasons.

  I've had my crazy drinking days, some of that in the Army. Maybe some will remember buying a big styrofoam cooler, fill it with a bag of ice, pore in 2 cans of grape juice, 2 cans of orange juice, 1 can of pineapple juice, add some orange slices and three cans of fruit cocktail, then add the main ingredient, 2 fifths of 190 proof Everclear. Don't forget the big paper cups and it is handy to have an old 5 gallon paint bucket handy.  :)   P.S. DO NOT do that on Sunday unless you enjoy puking during PT Monday morning.

  Well we saw what polls mean after tonight and Rubio did a hell of a lot better than anyone expected in Iowa, close to a tie with Trump for second place. Kasich got a big wopping 2, or was it 1% tonight? That can't help him in N.H.

I have no idea who runs, owns, or profits from Facebook itself but I have an idea that those who profit from Facebook would put earnings, or loss of earnings ahead of politically correct politics. I am thinking when Google/Youtube suspended Hickok45's channel with his million+ subscribers, who many raised holy hell with Google/Youtube, the fear of loosing $$$$ changed their minds about Hickok45 for whatever reason they suspended his channel and fixed it quickly. Possibly the fear and reality of loosing $$$$ of whoever made the decision of cancelling gun sales on Facebook may make them change their mind. Most ultra wealthy people have a price on their politics and principals.

  I think a lot more than just vets will like this movie.

  He looked like he was 80 on Barney Miller and that was the 80's. The funniest episode is when he had to dress up like a woman to catch rapists in the park, Barney wouldn't let him go out because he made the ugliest looking woman. I always like ol Abe though.

It's blatantly obvious to anyone who can think logically, it's has nothing to do with keeping bad guys/gals(criminals) from obtaining guns. Since they can't completely ban civilian ownership of guns, they write and pass laws like this to make it as difficult and inconvenient as possible to buy or carry a gun. I know this is about carry but look at their laws just to buy a gun. Liberals can't outright ban guns from citizen ownership but they certainly want to and will do everything they can to make that possible.
