1.   I know a lot of people who never even talk about their guns much less post comments about them online but the guns exist. There's millions of guns out there bought way back in the 50's and 60's,70's, 80's which probably don't even have a paper trail anymore and have had several owners. I doubt if they could trace 50% of the guns. Are they fining everyone yet who hasn't bought health insurance? Are they reporting the real truth about the New York Safe Act and other registration laws in some states? My guess is that they are far more unsuccessful at enforcing these laws as they are successful. If they worked there would be no problem with illegal drugs in the U.S., there is a total ban on them. Fact is, the U.S. Government is incompetent, they would have to get every gun owner to "volunteer" all the information about all their guns and I personally have no plans of ever doing that.
2.   The standard estimate, years ago people still quote today is about 350 million firearms in circulation in the U.S. I would not be surprised if the number was actually 1/2 billion today. I have had some doubts if all those NICS checks were really deleted like they are supposed to be but, even if they were not, tracking all the firearms and owners in the U.S. is a logistic impossibility. Several of mine have had several owners, without any checks. How many firearms does the TGO community own that have had a few owners before them? TGO is a micro-fraction of the entire gun community in the U.S. I would guess it would almost bankrupt a state who do have a registration to track and tax their firearms much less the majority of states that have no such registration or FOID cards.  I really think they don't have the capability to have a complete database which would require every gun owner to fill out a government form listing all their firearms, models and serial numbers. I ain't filling out no stinkin form, they can pound sand.
3.   Thing is, how could they possibly know? Don't ask don't tell.
4.   That traitorous biotch will never know I sold my best friend a shotgun. What's she going to do then?
5.   That's the one I remember, and I do remember it was said at the time he tried to catch the gun. That was a long time ago but even back then when I was on another forum on AOL dialup,  :biglol:  , we were talking about not trying to grab at a dropped gun.   Thanks for finding that.
6.   I did find that story, I believe it was determined that he dropped it and grabbed at it. HMMM?
7. Of course we all know that 99.9% of the time the trigger is pulled when a negligent discharge happens. I am curious about a sad incident many years ago, I commented on a Youtube video about negligent discharges not to try to catch a falling gun/handgun, it's safer to let it hit the ground. The incident was, I believe it was in Smyrna when a LEO was leaving the jail and retrieving his Glock from the locker it fell out of the holster and he grabbed it shooting himself in the artery in the thigh. If I remember right he did live but required many pints of blood and lost his leg because of it. I can't find any story about that on the internet, probably because it happened so long ago. Does anyone remember this? I will still tell anyone who asks me about firearms, DO NOT try to catch a falling gun, and also, don't drop your gun.

9. This former Seal make it his mission to bust phony Seals. That's all he goes after though, there's too many claiming to be military to go after all of them.   https://www.youtube.com/user/Buds131
10.   The belt fed machine gun was a German MG42, invented after WW2 started. I believe there was also a Walther P38 somewhere in there. The water cooled machine gun was a Maxium which is more accurate for 1913. I guess it's all fair game for a movie like old civil war movies where some are loading cartridges in their Colt SSA's.
11. Or, A Fistfull Of Dynamite. Watched this movie last night, been a long time since I saw it and noticed something.   Set in 1913 Mexico during the revolution.    You don't have to watch the whole video, just check out after 30 seconds and see what's wrong.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW0wO-Vds_8

13. They, used to say "so goes California so goes the nation" but that's BS. As California and some other states pass more restrictive gun laws, many other states are passing laws lifting restrictions on gun ownership and carry. Lately when reading about a new gun in a magazine ad I cringe when they brag it's "California legal", I know it's about making money but I really wish all the gun makers would stop trying to appease California and some other states, as a matter of fact I would like to see them just stop selling to anyone in those states including law enforcement. A self imposed total firearms ban on those states. Stop including that stupid spent case with the gun you buy, the state don't like it then screw them. Include a standard capacity magazine for the gun and include a high capacity mag for it also, if it's illegal in that state so be it.
14. North Dakota? This loon is in the wrong state, checking handgunlaw.us their laws are close to ours, better in some areas, they allow open carry without a permit. With this publicity she has now I wouldn't doubt if there would be some spiteful people who would make it a habit to walk up and down the street in front of her house with their handgun in full view just to mess with her, eventually the cops would have to get sick and tired of her. I would probably leave her some ad brochures about California, New Jersey and New England states along with some ad brochures about U-Haul or Hertz or some other moving companies.
15.   Yea I heard that about who started the petition. What would be the media's and liberal's response if a conservative had pulled some deceitful stunt like that directed towards the democratic convention?
16. I haven't followed the story much but what about the injured officer and witness reports of bam bam bam bam, a whole "gun clip, said by a witness" was shot? How was he injured and how many times did security shoot at him?   P.S. All jokes aside we really can't judge security, not knowing what they saw at the time and being a nutcase is no excuse for what he did, he did put a lot of people in real danger for that stunt and should be charged for that. I'm trying hard now not to make snap judgments on news stories because we all know what they report from the first is often far from what really happened. "Likely", security saw a man with a gun, correctly assumed he was going to commit a mass shooting and took action to stop him.
17.   Well he could have put an eye out ya know..
18.   Well if you take the weight of the rounds out then a semi-auto handgun is pitiful as a hammer then, everybody knows that. DUUUUU...
19. I have a G21SF, G3, it has the single polymer spring rod.
20. I do have a small collection of various calibers I have had in the past but, they are unfired rounds and I don't have the guns anymore. I do have a .32H&R Mag. still I can fire a few rounds from. I also have a couple of .454 Cassull, if I could extract the bullet and dump the powder without mangling the casing I could pop the primer out of my .410. Sorry, i'm not going to fire a .454 Cassull out of my .410, I like my hand and ugly face too much for that. :)
21.   A few years ago a friend of mine gave me an old stripper clip with 5 rounds in it, The inscription on the clip is F.MMAP B, and the inscription on the cartridges are, F.MMAP, 19   46, and S.F. on the bottom. I researched them online and Argentine Mauser came up. That's all the markings they have on them.
22. So this lower wouldn't be a good idea for a defensive AR?
23.   Maybe there ought to be a written test before someone is picked for a jury. Don't need a lot of questions, maybe a few like, Have you ever purchased miracle fat burning pills online or from a TV commercial? Have you ever spoke to a telemarketer for over 15 seconds? Just some questions to see if they are a gullible person.
24. All my casings right now have powder and bullets in them, i'll try to remove them soon, the fun way of course.  :)
