  1. Changing brake fluid is pointless, unless it has become contaminated. It will become dark, but that does not hurt the system. I have only demanded brake fluid be changed when it has become contaminated or overheated. IMHO it is a waste of time and money to change it at any other time. I have been a mechanic in chevy dealers since 1998. It is just a wallet flush that the oil companies and dealerships make money on.
  2. Sounds like they are acting out the movie "Bandits". Funny movie too.
  3. Thank you for the info. Unfortunately I have to work on the 13th.I am gonna try to get to one of the Intro classes before I jump in.
  4. First of all Thank you for the sacrifice you make for the community. I understand that most Police Officers have a good heart and want to help your community. I hope that I am not in violation of any forum guidelines with my next question. I am very interested in becoming a mechanic for the TN Highway Patrol. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any information if such a job even exists. I have recently moved to TN, and at one time I was a mechanic for the Indiana State Police. I have also been a mechanic for over 15 years. If anyone has any information that would help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
  5. I have never tried any competitions before. Is this newbie friendly? I have the firearms necessary, I am just a little nervous that I would be terrible. Where is this located and do I have to join a membership to be included. Thanks in advance for information.
  6. Praying for a speedy recovery!!!

    Remington Mosin

I wouldn't call myself a collector. I got a 91/30 as a gift and really like it. I am a little bit of a Remington fan, and when I seen this one I had to have it.

    Remington Mosin

Well I bought it along with about 350 rounds of ammo for 150. I think I did pretty good and now have 2 mosins. I also bought a sks and 1100 Remington from him. I have my eye on some more of his collection.

    Remington Mosin

Thanks for the info. I think I am gonna go ahead and pull the trigger on this one.
  16. I know a guy that has a Remington mosin-nagant for sale. It has the hex receiver and is the 91/30 model. I was very surprised to see this one as I never knew that Remington built any. It is in pretty rough shape and none of the numbers match. I already have a mosin, but I am interested in buying this one since it was built by Remington. Does anyone have any ballpark figure on the value. I know that is hard without pics, but just curious if they are worth more or less than the mosins from Russia. He priced it to me for 150 with about 200 rounds to go with it.
  17. I use the same product as the op. I also found crushed corncob at Walmart in the pet isle, but have not tried it yet.
  18. I am using the quick trim die with the quick trim kit. I do not have the drill adaptor, but I don't see how it would help any. I have only tried .223 cases, and I m getting up to .012" difference in the cases. The adjustment on the quick trim is very "hokey". I don't see how it could ever be accurate.
  19. If she doesn't like it, I will give her $350 for it. I have a SR9C and love it.
  20. For what it is worth, I have a lee quick trim and I hate it. I have not been able to get consistent case lengths. I am looking into getting the hornady case length trimmer.
  21. Thanks for the advice. We were able to locate the markers and all is good.
  22. Thanks for the replies. Gregintenn, I would like to take you up on your offer. We already have the notarized copy of the drawing. We have been unable to locate 2 of the markers. PM inbound.
  23. R_Bert. Too bad we cant shoot them at work. I would love to have an early Thanksgivin dinner.
