OK two comments and I'm done with this thread. 1. Slim - Do you have any sources that are NOT issued to you by the Catholic Church? Some of my very best friends are Catholic and I have never experienced this attitude from any of them or their families. In addition, nothing I know of or have participated in is "anti" Catholic or any other religion. If I take the criteria set forth in your post above I could easily define most companies, sports franchises, and financial institutions as religions. 2. What do ANY of your posts have to do with the OP's topic?

I think that sounds like a great idea. My fiancee has never been around firearms in her life until she met me. I have to give her credit that she is not overly scared of them and I did actually get her to go to the range and shoot a .22. Maybe she would also feel more comfortable in a more social situation with other women that shoot.

Since when did it become a crime to make money? Seriously, I know some prices are high and some things are hard to find, but hey I love to make money and I'm not ashamed of it. I guess you could always just let the Government regulate all prices, cause that works soooooo well. I'm so fed up with the "everybody deserves to have the same thing" philosophy. No one is entitled to anything. Work hard, look for opportunities to better yourself, and do the best that you can. There are no guarantees in life. As for the Katrina thing, I have some mixed/jaded feelings about the example given earlier. $40 rooms going up to $400 gouging? Maybe, but maybe not. If the evacuees sh** on the floors, stunk up the rooms smoking crack and meth, and attacked the employees like they did at MTSU's Rec Center I would consider it covering the additional expenses that the business incurred not gouging. Off my soap box now.

STAY AWAY FROM TGA!!! I ordered from them earlier this year. They show EVERYTHING in stock because they "don't have the ability to update the site when they run out of an item" WTF??? They charge you, in full, immediately, regardless of if they have the item or not. I ended up canceling my order and it took them over three weeks to refund my money!! I had to call three times and threaten further action before they finally issued a refund. I think it's some type of scam set up to get enough charged on "back ordered" products and then just disappear. I'll never order from them again.

Usually the reappraisal process runs on 4 year cycles. The data used to value your properties could be at least a year old.

Nothing will protect you 100% of the time. If someone wants to kill you, they will. Best thing to do is stay calm, cooperate as best you can, and wait for an opportunity to escape or catch them off guard. No one is fast enough to draw on someone already holding a gun and win.

I have never had to fire my weapon in self defense...thank god. I have drawn it once and the bg changed his mind and walked off. I called the local PD and filed a report just to be cover my a**. My hands shook for three hours.

If he is going to shoot a LOT you should seriously look at reloading. It's not too expensive to get started and you can save a bundle. I always started the season by ordering 3 cases of Remington STX target and 3 cases of Winchester AA from Gamaliel Shooters Supply. Order a divided shell bag and keep your hulls then reload them as you have time. I used a MEC reloader and could load a box in about 10 minutes max.

You should call Hero Gear. They had a few of them the last time I was there (2-3 weeks ago) at a fair price.

I keep with the occasional Cigar or Pipe, domestic cigarettes make me gag. I can smell them two cars away with my windows rolled up. Luckily I have a couple hundred cigars in my humidor. The tax is on all tobacco products cigars included, although you can get them imported.
