  1. All:____________ This is posted in a spirit of "know your enemy". It is an interesting read from a noted commie philosopher and MIT professor, Noam Chomsky (...bio here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noam_Chomsky...). Chomsky is 81 years old, an avowed hater of the US, and a socialist at heart. He is the pinnacle of academia in the US. The link to the essay is here: Facing the Threat from the Far Right, Noam Chomsky Says He 'Has Never Seen Anything Like This' | | AlterNet In true commie form; he has made the Pravda blog. Link here:Noam Chomsky Has ‘Never Seen Anything Like This’ Text below: I believe that it is a good thing to have socialist trash like Chomsky afraid of the "far right". Keep up the good work. Remember, there is an election in November. Vote early and often!!! Keep up the good work. Leroy
  2. Thanks Curious. Sorry to make ya have to work to find out. I really appreciate it. Kind regards, Leroy
  3. Curious:___________ What taper crimp die do you use (... ive got an RCBS and Dillon...); and what diameter reduction do you crimp to? I'm about to load some 200 grain Rainiers. Havent looked at what the reduction diameter should be. Kind regards, Leroy
  4. Glad it worked. Drop us a note and let us know if the pistol will feed reliably when you take it to the range. Kind regards, Leroy
  5. I love this post!! Funny and full of truth!!! I salute you!!! You need to be wary of unelected bureaucrats. Do a google search on New Orleans during Katrina. A little closer to home; listen to the pronouncements of the various chiefs of police in Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville --- then decide for yourselves who is the greatest threat. RE: Young military leadership: Right on target. I personally know several of these kids!! They give me hope for the future (...and im a terrible cynic...). Thank God for these great young people. Keep up the good work!! Kind regards, Leroy
  6. You might try seating the front edge of the wadcutter exactly flush with the edge of the brass and see if they feed. Sometimes that will work. Hope this heips Kind regards, Leroy
  7. We use oooo steel wool and truoil. I like this cleaner too; per Bearman's post: Lemon oil is good stuff. We use it on banjo and guitar fingerboards. If things are really dirty, you might want to use Murphys Oil Soap to clean the stock up first. Hope this heips Kind regards, Leroy
  8. Thanks for posting the pictures. Great looking bunch of hardware. Kind regards, Leroy
  9. Looks good!! I like the rifle length handguards on the ARs. Keep up the good work. Kind regards, Leroy

  11. + 1 to what Greg said. Always size, trim, and chamfer new brass. Kind regards, Leroy
  12. Thanks for posting this. Interesting read. Happened in exactly the place that one would expect it to happen. A big city. Looks to me like more folks need to arm themselves. I wonder if the New Orleans municipal area is a "gun free" area like Beale Street in Memphis!? Food for thought. Leroy
  13. I fully agree. You may want to look at this post for an interesting perspective on Lamar. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/282279-post14.html This post deals with gunowners; but Lamar is a great polititian with allies everywhere. As 6.8AR has so wisely opined; be careful what you decide to do when picking replacements. There are many pretenders out there that campaign as Republicans and govern as Demorats (..or worse...). Keep up the good work. Leroy
  14. Check out Bowen Classic Arms, Louisville, TN. Info below: Hamilton Bowen, Bowen Classic Arms. email bcacorp@nxs.net , Phone (865) 984-3583. Website here: + C A T A L O G + Hamilton and the gunsmiths that work with him are great guys to deal with and can fix or tune any revolver you have (...colt, ruger, smith...). Prices are fair, service is second to none, and the workmanship is as great as it comes. Hamilton has tuned up both colts and smiths for us over the years. We are happy to give him and his guys our highest recommendation. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Leroy

  17. It sometimes pays to do a little research before you buy high dollar property in urban areas. Leroy
  18. Thanks to all have opined; especially mc for the load data. I like the PM 40 too (...as well as the Sig 238--- a "real" pocket gun for real small pockets!!!...). I believe i'll try to round one up. Again, Many thanks and kind regrds, Leroy
  19. Amen brother! Many of the issues that brought on the civil war are coming to a crisis point today. The principal one is the power of an elite minority (...or ruling class...) to dictate policies to the citizens of the rest of the country that the majority (...or near majority; depending on how you count...) do not want. It is the ultimate hijacking of the concept of a representative republic by the dishonorable and despicable. At its core; it is the problem of a small elite group governing against the will of the citizenry. The ideal of a confederation or union of states died with Lincoln and his actions. Lincoln exchanged the ideal of state government for the iron fisted policies of the British Empire. Both Demorats and Republicans are guilty of continuing this policy. Keep up the good work. Leroy
  20. What a great tool!! Looks good. Kind regards, Leroy
  21. All:___________ here is a geat piece by Thomas Sowell regarding justice stephens. Interesting read: Link is here: RealClearPolitics - Good Riddance! Leroy

  23. Wish I was closer!! I would love to attend. Kind regards, Leroy
  24. All:___________ Just did a search on GunsAmerica (...link here: GunsAmerica - Search - Guns For Sale & Gun Auctions B"H ....). A total of 96 guns for sale were returned (...Gunbroker showed 242! link here: Revolver - Online Gun Auction - Revolver at GunBroker.com...) All looked to be the "old time" 38, 357, 22lr, and 44 special (...that’s what put Charter Arms on the map to begin with...). Robert appears to be exactly right. Charter is doing plenty of business with the old time calibers. Aint it great that arms manufacturers like Charter are busily arming America!! Kind regards, Leroy
  25. Amen brother!!! By the way: RE CK1's Post and opinion: The same issues that are critical in today's world were the issues that fueled the Civil War. They are the issues of the power of various states to band together with the central government (...the Federal one...) to demand that other states pay tariffs (...taxes, in the old vernacular...) and submit to federal edicts that ran counter to the wills of those individual states. Abraham Lincoln was far from a "great uniter"; he was a tool of northern special interest seeking to control the southern states. As some great scholar said; Lincoln exchanged the idea of a union or confederation of states for an empire not unlike the British Empire. Whether you choose to believe it or not; you have far less freedom today than you did before the Civil War. The civil war wasn't all about slavery, as some history revisionists would have you believe. Thus endeth the lesson Leroy
