  1. Personally, I really like 300blk. I think in the future, I'll leave the 5.56 home when I take the 300 out.
  2. This is why I use different mags with my 300BO.
  3. Stay away from Strike Industries if you want American made. Pretty hard not to find American made nowadays.
  4. Really thinking of building one myself. I'd go Circle10 or Angstadt Arms. Want a short pistol build. Maybe 7" barrel.
  5. The 1:7 in my 7.5 pistol in .223 Wylde is probably the most accurate pistol build I have in AR form. I love that build. It's a 1" group at 50.
  6. Yup. I keep this on my phone. I prefer 1:7.
  7. Well, I called 7 shops here in TN that were NFA FFLs none had what I wanted. Ended up ordering from Capital Arms. It's being Formed 3'ed now. Then Form 4. It just might be under the wire for 41F. Since I now have the serial number, if it gets close to July 13th, couldn't I go ahead and start the process with my Form 4?
  8. Wasn't Tubman a huge gun rights supporter? I mean huge. I'm fine with her face on my bills.
  9. You're right. But if I buy outside of Tennessee, it has to be a form 3 then a form 4 to get it. That's what my searches yielded.
  10. As long as it's within the state, can I do just a Form 4 to buy a suppressor or do I need to still do a Form 3 to get them to a nearby FFL then do a Form 4? I'm trying to track down a Dead Air Sandman S suppressor. I waited a week too late buying local and no one here has one. If just the Form 4 is possible, does anyone know of a shop in state that has one I can purchase? Trying to get it before 41F/P.

  12. I was schooled on this recently by the ATF. Not only do you need a new 5320.20 if you are storing in a new area within the state, if you move to a new address, they require a 5320.20 for the new address as a permanent change. Don't quote me, but the agent said this must be done two weeks prior at a minimum and if you change and don't file, you are in violation and will lose the item, fine, and/or jail time for violation. These were his words.
  13. Ok. Mine has the caliber very boldly on the barrel. It can be very obviously seen through the a part of the m-lok on the rails. Pretty plain as day. I made sure that section was left uncovered.
  14. Thanks guys! @TGO David: Thanks! That's from one of my builds.
  15. When I did my engraving, I did not get my lower engraved with the caliber. The barrel is engraved. Doesn't this meet the requirements per Chapter 6 of the NFA handbook?
  16. I'm saving up for a can at the moment. Really liking the Dead Air Samdman M for my 300BO builds.
  17. Wow, I must be in the minority. I filed on E forms at the end of November. Got it back at the 5 month mark. I'll be going another at the end of May for a can. Whats the deadline before 41p? June 3rd?
  18. This is my first NFA item so I went all out. This is my .458 SOCOM SBR I call "Red Death."
  19. Tennessee Arms will do this for you if you haven't already found someone.
  20. Hello all! I'm a gun and 2A enthusiast. I love building ARs. I've probably built 12 or more here in the last 18 months. I'm also a deer hunter and I'm interested in other game. Also, a life NRA member. Love to talk firearm talk and learn all I can from here!
