i might go. went to dalton last week with my son. should took the $16.00 that it cost to get it and threw it out the car window on i75. that way i would have got something for it,,the fun of seeing it fly away. i bet the prices will be high.

also, with the g23 you can get the 357 sig barrel and use the 40 mags. now with the 9mm conversion barrel you got three guns in one. so i would go with the g23 because you can turn the g23 into three different guns,,, 40 s&w, 9mm, and 357 sig.

saw one this weekend at the gun show and it was priced higher than the kel tecs p3at. hope they get it worked out for you.
-
good to see some 380 ammo that is not priced high.
-
i got two p11 and they are shooters. never had any problems with them.
-
i would go with the usmc straight edge. nothing wrong with old school. it worked for me in the early 70's and i can say it will work just as good today.

ka-bar, that is the one for him. he is a Marine and he will know the ka-bar. any other knife will just be a knife to him, but a ka-bar will be history that he knows.

i got the pet safe brand. had it now for 9 years. have used it on two boxers. works well. keeps them in the yard. check on line for best price. not hard to put in, just read and follow the directions. as for training i did not do the flags thing. i put it on the dogs and let him get hit once/twice/maybe three times. then they were trained.

Anyone headed to the show in Franklin?
frankmako replied to alingo2001's topic in Events and Gatherings
never. the net has put them out of business. it is doing the same to gun stores. you got to keep your prices in line with the net/big box stores or you will lose business. -
You can use .223 in a 5.56 but NOT 5.56 in a .223. It is a case size thing. The 5.56 case is some what bigger in the neck/shoulder area. Not much, but just enough to matter. Check your gun it should say 5.56 somewhere. Or call S&W and have them check for you.

this was the first georgia gun show i been to in years. but i remember the same old tired high price dealers that i saw years ago. glock mags were over $25.00 each. i just got 10 thousand primers in from powder valley and they were $28.00 per thousand. that the price of primers, hazmat and shipping fee combine. you don't find that price at a gun show.

yes, but i reload so i don't buy factory ammo. yes today i wasted $16.00 and the gas to drive down to dalton. next week there is a show here in chattanooga. don't think i will go. maybe someone will see a tc 9mm barrel and let me know.

Today my son and I went to the gun show in Dalton Georgia. The price was $8.00 each to get in. The guy at the door taking the money said, “It is a good deal for two days.†I was looking for a Thompson Contender 9mm barrel and some original rubber compact grips for an S&W j-frame. Well did not find them, but I did get to see lots of high price guns and other stuff/junk. The only guns that I saw sold were from individuals that were walking around the floor. The dealers were not moving anything as far as I could see. I did not see any good deals. One guy had the back wall full of reloading stuff. Primers were $39.00 and up. Powder at $130.00 plus and up for eight pounds. Cast lead and jacket bullets were sky high. He came up to me and said, “How you like that price on those primers?†I told him he was high. I am glad I can get my reloading equipment from the net. I can beat those prices, even with shipping and Hazmat fee. Lots of black rifles for sale at a very high price for the “Rambo†guys. Many tables of knifes and holsters were for sale. Lots of high price ammo in boxes that look old and worn. Not many people walking around inside. Guest the door fee of $8.00 is hard on people these days. When we got back in the car my son said, “Where was the beef jerky Then it hit me; there was none to be found. Well, today I went to a gun show, did not find what I was looking for, and spend $16.00 to come home empty.

Poll: Would you buy from a hoarder?
frankmako replied to enfield's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
no he can eat it. -
get the g19. with the g26 and the mag ext on it make the g26 the same as the g19. but if it was me i would get the g23 and then get a 9mm conversion barrel and g19 mags. now you got two guns in one, a 9mm and 40 s&w. then later i would get a 357 sig barrel, now you got three guns. you can use the g23 mags for the 357sig.

it is the 870 for me. you can to a lot with one and you could find ammo just about anywhere.
-
i got one and it works. small and easy to hide. long trigger pull, limp wrist will kill it, and you will need to find the ammo that will shoot in it. but all said i would do it all over again. and the price is right.

Bought some 9x18 Makarov hollowpoints.
frankmako replied to K191145's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
where did you find them? -
beltman, 5.11, and other holster makers make guns belts. a good gun belt is a must when carring a heavy gun.
-
s&w and/or colt.
-
the problem is the $$$. you need to save up some more and get a glock 19. the g19 is an all around gun. fun at the range and great for carry.
-
yes there is a gap. what type and make of gun?? some have more than others.

galco maimai classic is the one that i use. wear it several days each week at work. been doing so for many mango seasons. -
i got both. and i like both. but i got them many mango seasons ago, before you cound get a 9mm conversion barrel for the 40. i would get the g27 and a 9mm conversion barrel. that way you can have two guns in one.
