  1. s&w model 39. old school gun.
  2. check the mag. could be dirty inside. also limp wristing could come in play.
  3. push down on the barrel and turn the nut. this works most of the times.
  4. i got a ww2 mauser that i picked up in the 70's. then in 1982 i put a 308 barrel on it. great gun, real tack driver. used it for long range rifle matches in west texas back in the 80's.
  5. ammo cans and plastic coffee cans.
  6. been to several in south east tn and north ga area this year looking for a thompson contender 9mm barrel (never found one). it has been many years since i have been to one (got mad at them several years ago). but what i saw i can say they all are still crap. $8.00 plus dollars to get in. wall to wall people doing nothing but walking around. high prices on everything, guns, ammo, reloading supplies, etc. you can beat the prices by using the net, no matter what you buy, plus shipping, haz mat fee, trans fee, etc. used guns higher than new guns on the net. the only deals that i saw were in the parking lot. if the parking lot guys made it inside they changed their prices to the higher price. lots of knifes and beef jerky. some are like a flea market. i would shop on the net before i go to a gun show. that way you will not get beat.
  7. it would take me a long time to get all of my holsters out. i got an army foot locker that is full. at one time i was in the "holster of the month club". some of them have only been used once or twice and still in the factory bag. they just did not fit and/or feel right. been thinking of putting them on ebay to make some "new to gun money". but ebay to me is just a pain in the ass to mess with.
  8. stopped by two days ago. talked with a young man in the parking lot. he said they hope to open sometime during the first part of april. hope they keep their prices down. the high prices is one of the biggest problems of the local gun stores. yes, i know they got to make money, but when you are way over what you can get it off the net (plus the other charges) you will lose business.
  9. ruger sp 101. don't know why just want one.
  10. Stay in the hotels near the Aquarium or the Choo-Choo. You can walk to all the places.
  11. best red neck range around. more fun to set back and watch the show.

    Guns N Beer

there are more guns in bar than you think. a law is not going to stop something from going on.
  13. limp-wristing. have you cleaned the mags? take them apart and clean the insides. lots of junk get inside the mags.
  14. what a dumb ass.
  15. get the uncle mikes and/or desantis nemesis holster for pocket carry. just makes things better and they are cheap too.
  16. i hope they keep the prices down. the biggest problem we got now is the prices. they are gun show high. but that keep the net sale going. glad to see they are opening, been driving by for some time and have not seen much going on untill this week.
  17. they gave me a can at work for my m4. i use it because it is free. it is not designed to clean, but rather to lubricate and protect. but you got spray on oil. works well for some things.
  18. possum hollow trimmer is the way to go. get the trimmer and power adapter. works well.
  19. welcome

  21. look for an old s&w model 10 or a ruger sp101. both guns are good truck guns. you can find used ones at a fare price these days.
