  1. I have one in mine, greatly improved trigger pull and feel and no issues with light strikes. However I dont see how the connector would have an effect on that anyway.
  2. I wouldn't think so, after all the original rods were not captured.
  3. Some rollpins do, but if I recall correctly thisbpne is also accessible from the top of the slide and I would be more concerned woth the top of the slide being flush. Having said that, if the top is not flush, then yes I would take a punch and make it so.
  4. Which shop?
  5. I have been thinking about this a lot lately. My oldest is a huge fan, because dad got him to watch them, but thats another story. I plan on taking him, but even if there was not the crap going on and the state of the world, we would not be going until a week/ten days after it comes out and then only to a matinee. For several reasons, I HATE crowds and there always seems to be a ahole making noise or on their phone or some such if there are more than a handful of people in the theater, and the matinee is cheaper although it will still cost us $20. So to answer the question, I would not be surprised to hear something happened opening night/ weekend, and probably by some nutjob that wants to hear his name as opposed to a terrorist attack.
  6. I just got one of Kershaw's Launch 2 autos and while I love the knife, I prefer a partially serrated blade. Just feel that they are a more utilitarian design, at least for my uses. However Kershaw does not offer that on their autos, with no plans to in the future ( I emailed their cs). So I did a search , and there are several posts online about adding serrations, and how to videos etc. but I am not that guy. Now I have no problem sending to someone that would be more competent to have it done. Question is who? Does anyone have any suggestions or know someone?
  7. I think they changed the twist rate in the barrels to be more accurate with heavier bullets. Remember seeing that somewhere and what Musicman said about the triggers also.
  8. She is getting Iams, its what we haveall our dogs on. When we got her they were feeding her whatever was on sale, and my lord she hadthe worst caseof gas, it would clear thehouse out. Since she has been on Iams no more gas.
  9. The skin and hair issues (brittle and dry) have subsided with the lack if shampoo and proper shampoo.
  10. Another vote for the 19, I have 3 of them.
  11. She does lick her paws quite a bit, and scratch her sides/under arms often and really enjoys a back scratch. We did find a flea right after she got here, but just one and our other dogs have no symptoms of any kind.
  12. .
  13. So we have a rescue retriever/lab mix about 2 years ild and we have had her a few months now, the people we got her from just had a baby and couldnt devote the time they once did. So she has not been abused, and definitely not underfed. But they gave her a bath about 3 times a week or more, with regular shampoo and the poor things coat was as dry and brittle as straw. We have only given her a bath about once a month and with shampoo made for her. Now on to the problem, when we got her there were these spots, and some small scabs on her, I just contributed it to the excessive shampooing and dry skin. But now a few months later and they are still there and maybe even a little worse, and they are prtty much all over her, but seem to be more so on the legs, paws, and tail. I thought mybe mange, or hot spots but the pics I have found on the net dont really look like that. We have 2 other dogs and between my wife and I have had dogs for most of our lives but have never seen anything like this. I have attached some pics, we plan on taking her to the vet after Thanksgiving, but just thought I would see what you guys thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Went yesterday and picked it up, hassel free and enjoyed the trip.
  16. Any body know if they allow local pick up of an auction? I found something on GB bt it ends tonight, so nochance to contact them before it ends. I just dont want to bid win and have to pay shipping and transfer fee and tax, would definitely be a deal breaker.
  17. I want to say that the same guys that owned 2nd amendment owned a shop in the Russellville/Auburn KY area. Not sure if it closed when the other did or not.
  18. As of today according to their facebook page they are shipping.
  19. I am headed to the mountains in the morning for a little fall family getaway, and the wife and I want to visit the distillery and take the tour, etc. but we have a 3 and 7 year old with us, so question is will they be allowed in? I am thinking they will, not like the are going to be drinkng or attempting to purchase anybof the shine. Do any of you have any knowledge of this?
  20. The whole family has theirs, shots for me and the wife and youngest and mist for the oldest boy. I actually got mine the first of September but the rest didnt get theirs til the first of October. I work for a pharmacy and we have been peddling them since the first week of August. The current flu shots are from a dead strain of flu, it is impossible to get the flu from these shots. Many moons ago when they gave live viruses as shots, it was a very real possibility, but that hasnt been the case in decades.
  21. Anyone know if there is a dealer that carries Talon grips in the Nashville area and is open today?
  22. Guns and leather in Greenbrier and Springfield Arms in Springfield.

    Glock 43

Just the regular one, but I bent it very slightly in, made a big difference in that little tweaking. I have heard the edge Pro is very good but requires a little more fitting.

    Glock 43

$.25 trigger job and the Ghost Edge connector in my 43 and I have a very nice 5 1/2 lb trigger. And I love my 43, so much so that I sold both my Shield and XDs.
  25. There were close to that many there this morning at the 8 event, and they had 3 more sessions to go thru today.
