  1. Yep. You touch one off you know you started somethin. I cooked up some loads fairly similar, I think it was an old John Taffin load using Unique and 158 grainers. It was .....interesting.......mighty interesting.
  2. I always have to question the spiritual condition of anyone who puts pineapple on pizza.
  3. Wives teach us, by means of that slow, miserable, soul-draining demise, that we really don’t want any part of an eternity in hell.
  4. As much as I love my old 4” 686, I rarely carry it except to hunt with. I carry this on me a whole lot of the time, if I’m not toting my 1911. Smith and Wesson Model 66 .357. It’s the later model with the 2.75” barrel. I’m always skeptical of Smith’s guns with that stupid heritage-ruining lock, but I bought this one from a gentleman on here several years ago and it’s been my nearly constant companion ever since. I usually keep it stoked with Underwood .38 +P 158 grain. This one paired with my beloved little pre-lock 640 makes a superb combo.
  5. Late to the picnic here but my all around favorite is my Smith 66 carried in my holster I made for it. Versatile and a good shooter. Sort of an even tie for second would be my Sig P226 9mm or my Springfield lightweight 1911 .45.
  6. Erin, just southwest of Clarksville
  7. Friend of mine sent me a list of some guns he’s selling. He knows I’m looking for an AR. He has an Alexander arms Incursion rifle in 5.56 and a Franklin Armory A.R. 15 (I don’t know which model yet). I don’t know anything much about these two brands. Trying to research them is irritating. When I try to find Franklin Armory AR15 reviews, all I find is talk about the binary trigger, which I care nothing about. Same with the Alexander Arms, all I find is talk of the 6.5 Grendel. Does anyone know anything about the quality of these two brands and the materials used, especially in the bolt and the barrel?

  9. Well dang. This seemed to work before. All this time and we’ve been doing it wrong?
  10. I’ll knock off $50 and pay for shipping.
  11. Thanks brother. Wouldn’t be doing this now if not for wanting to do something for my boy. Ah the things we do for our kids. If this doesn’t work soon I may have to try putting up my Loaded Operator Lightweight Fullsize, which I don’t want to do since that’s my main carry.
  12. Dad-Gummit! Wish I could hurry the heck up and get a couple things moved so’s I could get ahold of that critter. That’s perfect, for me anyway.
