  1. Are the prices on your stickers “out the door Because I’ve never seen that.
  2. I didn’t see an option to download them; just DVD’s. Can you provide a link?
  3. What a great website. I don’t think I have ever seen that much firearms information presented in such a no nonsense approach. Everyone should take a look at that.

Here is everything you ever wanted to know, complete with videos. http://www.eotech-inc.com/
  5. I agree with both of those. Also, many people don’t carry all the time. It may not be that we don’t have any regard for our lives; but simply that we refuse to live our lives feeling that we must always be armed.

The fastest target acquisition I have ever seen, both eyes open with a full field of view, small unit that weighs less than 9 oz, picatinny mount, lighted selectable reticles. You don’t even have to shoulder the weapon; all you need is to be able to see the HUD. They don’t have any. (There may be some, but most of the ones I have seen don’t have any.)
  7. Tea shot out of my nose. I bet you guys set a lot of targets on fire, don’t you?

I bought an AimShot Holographic to play with. It’s not a EOTech but it’s not $500 either. Midway has them for $139. ($114 if you have a C&R)
  9. We are in the middle of a war that we hear daily how much it’s costing…. And the Army decides to spend a bunch of money to change uniforms…. WTF over? I guess not having proper battle gear for our troops got all straightened out?
  10. Probably has something to do with Oak Ridge. I bet most of those people over there glow in the dark.
  11. I haven’t read all of this but it’s been seven weeks. Have you went to Gallatin PD and ask to speak to the Shift Commander? Or to the Sates Attorney’s office and talk to them? The weapon can be checked in a matter of minutes; I would be curious to know what the wait is for. Good luck with the NRA.
  12. I would guess the same way any other offense would be determined…. In a court. State of mind and intent is a factor in many criminal cases. We have access to the written law, but most of us don’t have the ability to research case law. The case law is just as important as the written law.
  13. If you had the facility, why would a type 01 dealer not just get a type 07 manufactures license?

You mean price wise or height wise? You can mount any cheap scope on them; if that is what you want. I’m using a Leupold, but I’m just saying….
  15. You mean besides Sabre Defence in Nashville? Just kidding..... Did you find one?
  16. They put the gun in a box, declare it and ship it. How do they mess that up or make it an illegal transfer?
  17. Question for the dealers here... I commonly see private sellers putting in their ads to make sure your FFL will accept shipment from a private party. Do some of you not accept those shipments? If not, why?
  18. Does anyone have these AGI DVD Armorer’s courses? What do you think of them? I was thinking about ordering one for my Garand and possibly some others.
  19. If you took the money and didn’t send him the gun you could find yourself dealing with the Postal Cops on a fraud change. And if you sent him the gun you could be dealing with the AFT on an illegal transfer and then the Postal Cops on using the mail in the commission of a crime. Unless you were already a criminal I doubt you would do time, but I would guess you would end up with a felony conviction and fines and attorneys fees in some pretty big numbers. I’ve seen al kinds of stuff posted that could get you busted. Like disassembling a firearm and sending it in separate packages somehow makes it not be a firearm.
  20. I had a guy PM me and make a point of telling me he lives in Alabama but could pick the gun up here. It could have been an innocent mistake on his part or it could have been the ATF…. Who knows? Thanks Tungsten for fixing the problem without making everyone else suffer.
  21. I have not yet had to do a transfer. If I’m looking for used I have been able to find what I want locally (with the exception of one recently) by posting on the forums, or if I’m looking for new I have been able to find a dealer that would give me as good as price as I could find elsewhere. I contact those dealers that support the forum first.
  22. I don’t mind the sales people making suggestions; I don’t feel like they are insulting me by doing that. I decided I wanted a .308 AR type rifle. I went to see Joe because he had the DPMS LR-308 I thought I wanted. When he handed it to me I thought “Holly crap this thing is long.†I guess he could tell I was less than impressed and said “I have something else you might want to take a look at.†He put the LR-308AP4 in my hands, and it was exactly what I was looking for. If he hadn’t done that he would have probably missed out on a sale and I would have missed out on a great rifle. Sure, I looked at the specs before going there, but that’s not the same as holding it in your hands.
  23. I wouldn’t be turned off by it. I would be turned off if I saw someone dismantle a rifle that I was thinking about buying. It’s like cars or motorcycles; If I’m paying for new I want new. Although I know this is controversial; I don’t dry weapons…. It is wrong. If someone is “just looking†they don’t need to be dry firing them and if they are serious about a particular weapon someone should put a snap cap in it before they dry fire it. I have seen guys stand there and dry fire the crap out of handguns and then put them back; I don’t want those.

  25. No, the ammo won’t become more powerful; but it could be deteriorated. If he had a squib and didn’t realize it, he could destroy the gun or get hurt. Ammo is cheap compared to what could happen.
