Thanks guys. After looking over everything posted I now know it is a 22 trainer that someone put some TLC into. Looking at other trainers it appears this one was hardly used to begin with. I imagine it has been reblued and really have no clue about the stock but it is nice. Next chance I get to get out and shoot I will be taking it.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the info. I'm not looking to sell. Just trying to get all info on all my guns detailed and logged. I will get some pics up this weekend. I got pics of the German 22 today but didn't dig the Levers out of the safe.

I have this very nice Mauser Action 22 rifle that I can find nothing on. I have googled and Gunbrokered every word on it. All I know of it is my dad got it back in the 80's and (If memory still works right) it was suppose to be a German 22 Sniper training rifle. That is unconfirmed though. So here I am to enlist the aid of the TGO clan to help me identify this. It has to be the best shooting, most accurate 22 I have ever laid my hands on. We hardly shoot it though. Too many other to shoot. So what is it? So there it is. Are my search skill that bad I have missed something? And to go ahead and get it out of the way I'm not looking to sell it. Just wanting to find out more info on it. I'm updating all my gun info and don't have anything but a serial number on this one. Thanks, Verne

Thanks for the info guys. Now for those of you who are curious here is the list. First is a Model 94 with a 1962 build date. Nothing too special. Second is a Model 94 with a 1929 build date and is a Nickle steal 30 WCF. Last but not least is a Model 1892 with 1905 build date. Octagon Barrel with crescent stock in 38 WCF (38/40 caliber).

I dabble on occasions but other than a few around town I haven't done many. I use a Garmin Zumo 550.

Saw it before you changed it so will say this: I don't know if I want HIM to see them. He might like them and want to add them to HIS collection and make me an offer I would have a hard time refusing. He knows my weakness.

I'm looking for someone in the Nashville area who can do appraisals on a couple of Older Winchester Rifles and by older I mean one is a 1906 build, a 1930's build and a 1950's. So who would be the go to person? Thanks,

Suppressor for 6.8 with 1/2-36 thread?
Verne replied to flyanything's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Cheapest route would be to find a barrel from a 4 or 5 inch and have it threaded. That is what I did with my XD45C. The longer barrels work perfect in the Compact/Sub-compact guns. I got the 5 inch barrel and had a gunsmith thread it. Tested it in the gun prior to threading and worked great just waiting on the ATF now so the real fun can start. -
Any incident you can walk away from is great. If you have to wait on ambulance/life flight/friend, odds are it is not going to be a good rest of day. Have done a couple of those. And remember "Adventure Riding is taking inappropriate equipment to far out of reach places." Back in August I ended up on a road in KY, on my SuperHawk, that crossed a creek three times then turned off and the creek was the road. Ended up dumping the bike and all I could do was laugh my butt of about it.

Tantrum did get some video of the MP5. Do I love this gun.
-
Had the camera down there but only took a pic of the MP5 next to the GSG-5. Nothing special. Was to busy shooting.

Thanks Chuck.

Oh well. SO much for the 30-30 barrel on the Contender. Nothing like a BIG BOOM from a handgun.
-
What is the caliber limit for the range? I might just have to bring the Ole Thompson Contender if anyone is interested.

THP being there is a different story. The DMV will not issue you a ticket but THP could. When I took my test I called and their response was "We don't care how you get it here, we don't give tickets just license." Guess he could of told the officer someone just left with the trailer. I have rode with the same group for years and a few don't have license. I have seen them pulled over and never got a ticket for no license just speeding or what ever they were doing. Trooper told one of them once "Hell you made it this far." But times change.

Saturdays are pretty much out for me until after the first of the year. If they offer OT for Saturday I will be at work and this is the busy time of year for us. If you ride down for the Celebration of Liberty I might join you. I will not be working that day.
-
Don't know where you heard that but is not true. They do not care how you get the bike there. I called about it when I got my license and that is what they told me. And as of one month ago was still the same for a friend of mine in Gallatin. For the test. Use your turn signals, don't do anything an officer would ticket you for and don't drop/wreck the bike. Also make sure your all your turn signals, brake light, horn work and your mirrors are intact.

Sorry was in a hurry this morning. Was going to add that if it gets moved to Sunday I could make it but changed my mind. Did found out today we will be working Saturday and Sunday so that is out as an option. I did ride to work today. A little rain this morning and more this afternoon. Got to love the looks you get at red lights for the cagers.
-
Riding in the rain will teach you alot. I have no problem in the rain, actually enjoy it. Throttle control & braking control are key. I doubt I will make it Sunday. Looks like I will get to work. In today's economy I take all the OT I can get.

Know for a question. What is a good router? Need one that is Xbox live compatible, G wireless or better and would be nice if it had a USB port for my external hard drive.
-
Well just tried reset to hard reset the router and give it another try and it will not do squat. So guess I will just go get a new sometime this week. Oh well my P220 might have to wait an extra week or two.
-
I'm running of the DSL right now straight off the modem. Just can't get the router to work inline with it. I haven't called ATT helpdesk on it. They were no help last time. Unless you use there router they can't/wont help. It has worked great for what I need for years and don't want to buy another. Really want to buy a Sig P220 Combat and counting my pennies to do it but this isn't helping.

I have a YHM Mite and am very happy with it. I have shot it back to back against a Gemtech and the difference is not that much. Yes is not the quietest but it is no slouch. I can load sub-sonics be great. Add water and it is totally different. Weapon choice is a big concern. On some host it is louder/quieter than on others. If you are ever East of Nashville or I make it back towards Memphis you are welcome to check it out.

Mine is my first name. Yeah grow up in the south in the 80's with that name. There is nothing along those lines I haven't heard. Strangely, of all the sites I'm on there are only 1 or 2 where some one else already had it.
