  1. Joe I would be more than happy to do a shake down run for you on that S1000RR when you get it.
  2. I would love to see that when it gets here willis. One day I will own a 996 for play but the SuperHawk (aka poor mans Duc) will have to do for now.
  3. I would be happy with one 622 let alone 3. I will have one to go with my 422 some day. But the S&W 422/622's are my favorite .22 out there.
  4. Going have to go up a notch. Surppressed P90!!!! It was like a sewing machine on crack. Followed very closely by the MP5's.
  5. I might be there if I don't have a chance to work. OT is priority right now.
  6. I have a few: Browning Gold Medalist S&W 422 S&W .22 Revolver (can't remember model) Thompson Contender with a .22 and .22k Hornet barrel Gustloff-Werke (.22 German trainer) Ruger 10/22 Savage Mark II Chipmunk .22 .22 conversion for the AR That's it at the moment but want a few more.
  7. Verne shooting somebodys Barrett one day. And because I know I will catch hell for a no face pic, like this one pic will help me though.
  8. My poor ole '98 SuperHawk. I think I have meet you before but can't remember where. I use to ride alot with the guys off Cycleforums. I agree completely. Mine is a racist, anti-gun Liberal. He wont mess with me but if anyone else touches a firearm in is sight it is attack mode on. Right after I got him my best friend showed up with his Mossberg so we could change the stock out. Walked in and went to make sure it was clear. Racked it and the Bulldog was off. Right on him and not one bit happy. My buddy got the shotty between and and BJ and then sit it down against the chair. Dog backed off barked and growled at it for a minute then caussioully walked over and bit the barrel and ran back around the coffee table in triumph. You would swear he was strutting back. Funniest/strangest thing I had ever seen. Guessing someone has peppered him with one before. He is hit or miss whether he will get upset about people handling a gun but pick up a shotgun and realize quickly he is not asleep in the corner. He knows the difference.
  9. My goof ball. One hell of a watch dog just not enough wind in him to be a guard dog. Five minutes of moving and it is nap time.
  10. This is where I would start. Clock the meter. Make sure no water is running in the house (Sink, toilet, washing machine, dish washer, you name it) and see the meter is gauge/dial is moving. If so you have a leak.
  11. I agree. The Hi-Powers are just so nice but I prefer the older ones.
  12. No problems from me. Heck if there are other options I want to know too.
  13. Part of the reason I want one. Ok the bigger reasons, I can afford it. As much as I would love to have a MP5, it just isn't going to happen.
  14. Been in Indy since Thursday. Getting ready to head to the track for the MotoGP race then head towards home afterwards.
  15. I have a YHM Spector on my AR. I can say it has never caused and issue and really don't even notice it. The only time I even thought about it is when I got curious and pulled it off. Went back on just fine and runs perfect after. Over all I am very happy with the few YHM products I have.
  16. Jasongar8: Thanks for that link a lot of good info on there. Didn't know anyone made a faster speed upper for them. For now the stock upper will be enough for me then a Max-11 if I don't find one already with it when I buy. Smith: Wondering how long before Magic pops in here. He knows I'm looking so I figure he will have some input for me. Now if I could just make it to Knoxville to check his out in person.
  17. I have decided I need to add a full auto to the collection. The M11 9mm looks like my best choice. A register lower or MP5 are out of the budget. Plus the Lage additions will make it do what I want. I know from my research that a Sten mag conversion is on the list but is there anything else I need to be looking for or staying away from? Any manufacturers that are better than the others? Anything else I need to know, other than get on the .22 Lage waiting list? Thanks in advance, Verne
  18. What you mean that doesn't happen to you every weekend? Maybe I'm just lucky then. On a side not do you know they will throw you out of a perfectly good bar for encouraging hot girl on girl lightsaber fight. The nerve of some people.
  19. And subtract for the suppressed weapon putting off one heck of a muzzle flash. I just started watching it this season. Seems good.
  20. I like my Mite a lot. Not saying it is as quiet as the Element (which I'm sure it isn't but is still very quiet) but for the price is hard to beat. I have less than the Element retails for in my Mite including the tax stamp. I didn't compare to many when I was shopping for my first can but most of the .22's cans were not that far apart in db's. I wonder how much the difference has to be to be noticeable to the naked ear. My Mite and S&W 422
  21. That a nice setup but that's bad to hear. I can remember the days of riding around up there with a rifle rack in the back window of my truck and not a word being said. Heck I wasn't even 18 then either.
  22. Verne

    Short List

Mine: S&W 622 More Sigs Old beater double barrel 12 or a Stoeger Double Defense What ever else strikes my fancy.
  23. Just balance them on the bike. Not a perfect way to do it but will get you close. On a side note: I heard this weekend that Motorider rode out west on vacation. Him and some others were heading towards Colorado but don't know when they were going. Later, Verne
  24. Everyone always wonders how I do so many miles on the bike. Back and forth to work add up quick.
  25. Doing good down on the creek bank. Me and Brad were talking today about putting a shoot together out at the farm and getting a bunch of people together. It will probably be around fall when it cools down. Other than that I work or am doing something around the house. Heck I have only been out on the bike for on two weekends this year. All I do is commute back and forth to work anymore. So much fun I can hardly stand it.
