  1. They are trying to fix up that image, aren’t they!! These weren’t too popular in CA they the time I be left. I’m gonna pin it on yet another ‘bonus’ from the pandemic driving a renewed interest from the wrong demographic. But it occurs to me, they really are only going halfway here. They are completely glazing over the other half of the duo that made levers such a deadly force. The horse! Granted not as cool as a shark with a laser, but those have a pretty narrow operating window compared to a horse with a 50.
  2. Fair to say. What happens when people have too much time and money perhaps. Right now it seems that consumers simply can’t buy enough or spend their money fast enough. All this talk of possible recession and hard times, just not seeing it in this industry, still a massive feeding frenzy.
  3. I surmised they are not the same. That’s why I mentioned the takedown, it implies different grip module (320 speak for what’s traditionally the frame). I think they are wider but I never bought into the 45 version of the 320 due to it being there of man out to verify that. he they can reuse the fcu is curious, likely just thicker module. Did it need to be that way though? Given Sig is more about marketing and selling, Is venture not, but on the other hand, the poly on a Large frame glock seems stouter than the 320s Like you, misses out on the modularity to make me consider it. I’m good with my G20C and G21C with their ability to share if i’m feeling like a plastic 10mm day. Though prefer the Gen3 S&Ws most times.
  4. Here is something to consider, you know they didn’t just do this on a whim in the hope of creating a market. People had to actually be asking them for this. I know….right? As much as I’d want to satisfy my curiosity to know the who’s, why’s, and how many asked…Probably best not to know.
  5. That is all kinds of wrong. I’m with you, not my thing and hard to see a ‘mission’ fit for the platform. Is the price paid when you open the demographic a bit too wide…not only the crazy pricing.
  6. Maybe it just needs to have an IR laser and flashlight added to make it work
  7. Tacti-cooling !! Maybe its been done before and hadn’t noticed, but when I get this Midwest Industries email, it affirmed that the levers are likely more popular than their price increases suggested and to non traditional demographic. I guess it was just a matter of time, and making something you love more ‘versatile’? can be seen many ways. Assume long time classic fans may be horrified if you haven’t seen it before. Thought it was worth a share whichever way you fall. What say you TripleGGG? https://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/Henry-4570-MLOK-G2-Handguard-p/mi-h4570.htm
  8. If you want selection, SMGA and Buds are right next to one another in Sevierville. Preference to SMGA for service.
  9. Yeah it was. They apparently oversold to boot. Taking a page out of Opticsplanet playbook, they canceled my order and refunded just a bit ago. No reply to email follow-up
  10. Sorry if the wrong place. Jump on the off you are an AK guy, they sell out fast @ 12.49 each https://zastavaarmsusa.com/product/steel-serbian-30-round-magazine-10-pack-blem/
  11. That’s what I was curious about. Never shot a Bhp and couldn’t get a sense of a comparison in that regard. read the disclaimer, but suspected you did a bit better in reality from the full text and steels. To explain If that wasn’t put well, the second part was trying to get a read for a sense for accuracy, even if you technically aren’t trying. If this makes sense, a return on effort investment. Like results came easier than they should. But I get ya if you feel you don’t feel you could judge that fairly at the point. Appreciate the extra info.
  12. Appreciate the review. Could you elaborate on the accuracy, I wasn’t sure if you expected better relative to your HP’s, if those were better shooters (never owned one to know), versus combat accuracy is what is hoped for. I expected with the longer sight radius and being a modern SA it might have very good accuracy .
  13. Thanks for the background Chuck and appreciate sharing the thoughts. I can certainly see it for that (extreme?) example, TK was highly intelligent and the sophistication he demonstrated over many years. But not all geniuses go to Harvard I imagine. The age, camo, and livestreaming don’t suggest much, but enjoy the read. I actually did go see and touch TK’s cabin one of the times it was being transported thru Mather Field (former AFB). It was after the hype, so they just had it sitting in a lot of the tarmac for a few days. Not cordoned off, just sitting there. Kind of surreal.
  14. Details Details No doubt. 1A for them, not so much for us. Its unfortunate we couldn't do a 3 letter agency style 'reimagine' and interpret. While I'm dreaming out loud. I do like Chucks tinfoil hat allusion. just the handful of headlines seemed to be ticking the boxes of many of the hop topics heading into the primaries. The timing of these events makes it even more, well, maybe I need to use two layers of foil. I hate seeing that folks here are actually reading any of the drivel this person would have, or has been claimed to have put out there. It is exactly what he wanted and seeing himself as insignificant or marginalized is what drove part of the behavior as if they just put it on their social no one would do that. Even if one believes its actually the product of an agency, same effect. One of the headlines (I dont actually read the articles as the bias in the headlines is too much) had the first order of business for a 3 letter was running to his place to check for one. Maybe not odd today, but I always question accuracy of the interwebs. Can I ask, for those that do look at this things, is it more of a watching a trainwreck situation? I know you don't expect to find any real rationale since he's obviously not stable. Just curious what you find of interest in it.
  15. When they stop giving these them a platform! They know they can write manifestos and live stream and the media will put out it there and make them famous. And spur the copy cats. You can’t stop crazy, but you can take away their incentives. Pass legislation preventing media from publishing and broadcasting any such related items, never allow their names to be disclosed, and do away with the big socials…problem 99% solved. unfortunately, long way to say never. The media ban would prevent the weaponizing of these events again gun owners, and shutting down the major socials would cause mass hysteria, riots, and suicides though the world would be a better place for it in the end.
  16. Congrats on the add. Fits right in. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a detective version. Great to see a pic of one
  17. …and a round thing in your face… I can’t get that song or this pic out of my head now. Not that it’s bad thing. Thank you ??
  18. Looking for a nice condition 45 cal 4”upper or conversion kit for my 220 full size. Not interested in a complete pistol unless attractively priced. Lean toward a 220 having sold my 227 that was a bit to chunky tubby around the grip for me, even with the E2s
  19. I usually hate seeing things in Nashville (where most of the good stuff is!), but this is one of the rare times In almost glad. I’ve got a Gen1. Love it. wouldn’t mind the upgrade, but the distance is keeping me safe from doing something I know I shouldn’t GLWTS
  20. You only go around once, why deprive yourself. if memory serves, you posted a pic of a part of the collection, on a custom rack? Seems like now is a good time for a pic repost
  21. I was hoping the top end fit a standard x frame so it would just be a matter of getting the slide and barrel, but with a 45 takedown it must use its own grip module. Have 10’s already. so hard sell for me if it’s proprietary and can’t use with my other 320 bits. Look forward to seeing the details and level of modularity.
  22. Wanted to note this here in case folks don’t check Events forum
  23. i’ve been running the HB in mine, can’t beat it for the money. had to increase the preload on the return spring since it wasn’t resetting, but it had a couple years on it by then. My stock trigger was in the 14lb range, so huge improvement in pull. Didn’t do much else for it, like the very long reset. End up with more of a decent rolling break long travel trigger you get used to. I’ve tried a friends CZ customs and that was great, much crisper and shorter reset, but $300. Don’t know if they still offer them. I am hoping Timney is produced again. It disappeared a couple months after intro, sold out. They said they were going to make them but it’s been over a year and a half. Possible they encountered a problem with the first ones, but the initial reports were very good. I did get the Mcarbo spring set for my second one, just to try. Same concept as HB. Haven’t gotten to it though.
  24. If your referring to The dealer warehouse in CA, I bought 3 mags for my tt33 and they fit just like the guns original mags. They also worked in another tt33 I got from brownells about 3 years ago. However, I bought them at the end of 2016 so not sure if they are the same as one’s sold currently. They were only $15 each and it possible they were united surplus, I just can’t recall. They would have to confirm for that timeframe if they were the same item.
