  1. I've had a PlumCrazy poly lower for years. Had many uppers on it in various calibers. Only thing I don't like is the trigger guard can't be replaced. Trigger isn't bad, functions fine. My New Frontier poly lower has a poly upper on it and shoots rather well for how cheaply I put it together. It is one built for my dad to carry around in the woods. At 69yrs old, he loves the weight savings over a standard AR.....
  2. Beautiful pieces as usual. Not my size or I'd have claimed it.
  3. You guys know you can get a conversion barrel right? Snatch it up for the ridiculous low price. Just wish he was closer....
  4. No one here has said Staccto or Nighthawk yet.....super surprised on that. If your willing to pay, put Les, Wilson, Nighthawk, Stacato and Dan in a hat. What ever you draw out I'm sure you'll be very happy with.
  5. So when I clean and lube and rack the slide back n forth to distribute the oil on my Glocks does that count? I do it pretty violently and occasionally my hand slips and it slams home.
  6. If I see no sign, they see no firearm, I see no issues
  7. I have 1 rein and 1 surefire. I cannot attest to the total reliability of either for firearms but the rein has a better quality of light emitting from it. My lights are specified for edc, not firearms. Both are fantastic lights but price and clarity of light goes to the rein.
  8. What's the name and brand of that knife? It looks comfy for the hand and the blade sure is interesting.
  9. I don't play but I can appreciate the work that goes in to those. Very nice examples....
  10. I'm a Glock guy first off. Secondly, I've modified them in almost every way. That being said, I've had Shadow Systems, Zevs and built P80s...all clones and all nothing but modified Glocks with different grips. So I gave 2 different Daggers a try to see how they would stack up. Like stock glocks, polish up the triggers and they're not bad or swap em out and they improve a bit. The grip is less than desirable to most. You either like it or hate it. I wasn't "happy" with the nub and sanded it off which helped. Daggers need modifying but are a great base to start with. Daggers are cheap for a reason. I feel they would be a great truck gun, back up, toilet or shop gun etc in stock form. For those who can't afford much, they are good enough to start with and defend yourself until you can upgrade parts or to another pistol. With Glockish lowers available every where, and a slew of parts available, I say build what you want when you find a lower you enjoy holding because the lower is usually what everyone has issues with. If you want or need an elchepo for whatever, Daggers fit that bill.
  11. There is a reason you're an awesome mod....just found out why.
  12. That should be in a restaurant! Absolutely looks delicious! I would love to try some of that! If you could eat with your eyes, I'd be full! Awesome job with the beautiful presentation!
  13. How did I miss this event! It was literally 17 minutes away and sounded like it would be a blast! Geeze, I need to start paying attention to this part of the forum more. So...how was it? Did a lot of people show up? Was it a success? Anything like this happening in the future again?
  14. Soooo...I think I did everything right. Possibly screwed something up...I'll find out after Christmas.
  15. I realized if I change my avatar I've had since the beginning, I'll loose it forever. I've changed phones over the years and lost the original....and I can't get that one to down size enough so, I just posted it. Oh and I ran outa crayons so following directions is hard.
  16. I have a friend who lives in Dover near Clarksville. He said it was regular T-storms there and never would have expected 30min down the road a tornado would have touched down. My heart go out to those affected.
  17. I saw on the news the other day her copyright lawsuits are being studied in a law classroom. Can't remember the name of the school but they use her 5 cases as study material.......she is literally everywhere. My daughter used to adore her, now not so much. Thanks to momma, I never had to attend a concert of hers.....though I did have to buy a bunch of posters, t-shirts, cd's and other crap.
  18. I believe Sig optics are hit or miss. Never owned one personally but 3 guys I know who are Sig fanboys have had failures and Sig wouldn't stand behind the warranty. They've since spent their hard earned cash elsewhere
  19. I've been trying for as long as I can remember.....I finally got lucky as it's a gift for my daughter. Keep vigilant and subscribe to GrandTrino to get a leg up when he posts more...
  20. Viridian RFX series I have 2 of the RFX35's and I absolutely love em. It's an super under rated green dot that hardly anyone speaks about. Some price range as holosun/swampfox and just as good.
  21. I've been there once. Walked in and was greeted. Walked around and browsed. I was asked if I could be helped, I politely said no thanks. While I was squatting down checking on items I might buy, I was told I couldn't carry my gun in the store without it being in a holster. I carry my g26 at 6 oclock in a 20yr old hybrid comptac iwb as I have for as long as I've owned that holster. When I lifted my shirt to show it was in a holster, the guy got offended that I would carry a gun like the "idiots" do on TV. I told him his attitude and statement lost a customer for life and asked where is the store manager. He said he was the "floor" manager. I just walked out. There is a gun store/range in Maryville called Gunnys...got treated like crap there too years ago and never went back. It's changed owners since then but I'll never go back to any place that doesn't respect their customers.
  22. I'll take either 2 or 4? Been wanting one if these for a Christmas present Didn't see that John was taking both.
