  1. Safe and a sound. Prayers to those affected.
  2. Probably Nashville. Everyone seems to be moving here.

    S&W M&P

Picked this up in the beginning of February. M&P 9 2.0 Compact with 4 15-round Mags. Very nice to shoot. Now I’m waiting for my tritium sights to arrive.
  4. Welcome to The Great State of Tennessee, and welcome to the TGO
  5. I don’t have nearly the knowledge base of some of the members here, but the firearms you listed are all legal to own in TN. TN does not have a firearm registration requirement. As long as you legally own the firearms, there should not be any issue moving to TN with them. Fellow TGO members, please correct me if I am wrong.
  6. Appaloosa
  7. Back when you could have a toy gun w/o a red plastic piece on the end of the barrel.
  8. I think I might have had one of these as a kid. You pulled the trigger and it spun something inside the toy which made the sound of rapid automatic fire. The faster you pulled the trigger the more it “fired”
  9. I was looking at those as well. Unfortunately they are about $430. A little out of my budget at the moment
  10. Now if anyone would just get the Romeo Zero in stock. Optics Planet keeps pushing my ship date one day, every day. Grrrrrr.
  11. Please don’t post pictures of that.
  12. “69” Dude
  13. “The greatest teacher, failure is”, Yoda Don’t be afraid to fail.
  14. Jealous. I was really thinking about getting this same pistol. I was wanting more of a combat sized and I liked that it was RDS ready. Then I “accidentally “ bid on a M&P 2.0 9 Compact and won. After moving the Crimson Trace Laser on eBay, the pistol only cost me about $200. I really like it. Because I still wanted a pistol which was built to take an RDS sight, I will be the proud owner of a P365XL tomorrow. i will post my own review once I get it to the range. Then, once I get the Romeo Zero installed ( if they ever come off back order) I will add it’s review. I will be interested in your thoughts on the Masada after you put another 500 rounds through it.
  15. Right there with you hipower.
  16. That is true.
  17. Mayo, the new gun lube....
  18. I’ve heard that some folks like mayo with peanut butter. I’m a HUGE fan of both, but never cared for them together
  19. I realize the thread topic is “Combat Accuracy” but most of us are not likely to be in combat.
  20. In a defensive situation, if my attacker is 25 yards (75 feet) away, chances are I’m going to try to flee rather than attack. I know Tennessee is a “Stand your ground” state. However, if I shoot and kill someone who is 75 feet away, a prosecutor or DA’s office might try to make a case that I was not in imminent danger to life and limb. When it comes to self defense training, I am more concerned with accuracy 10yards or less. If I could, I would love to train shooting close range while moving backwards or back and to the side. Unfortunately you can’t just do that at a typical range. I do move the target out or 15 or 20 just to see what I can do, but I don’t send too many rounds at that distance.
  21. So, Apparently my wife does particularly care for the smell of Hoppes #9 wafting through the house when I clean my pistols. What other gun cleaning solvents does the TGO collective recommend that may have less (as my wife would say) “pungent” odor.
  22. All my range toys... M&P Shield 9 EDC M&P Shield 45, BD sights #2 EDC ATI GI 1911 45, just fun to shoot, M&P 2.0 9 Compact
  23. Newest toy is an M&P 2.0 9 Compact.
  24. I did buy one of the gear/ammo sale items https://www.ammunitiondepot.com/ammunition-depot-9mm-tactical-sling-pack-350-round-pmc.html and added 150 more rounds to make it an even 500. If I take out the cost of the bag ($38.22 w/tax) from what I spent, then it was about $0.16/round. It’s not a bad little range bag.
