  1. Took 79 hours to get my results. (Tested Wednesday at 17:00 and received results today at 0:37) Positive (yea). I am not totally surprised I am positive. My wife was tested Positive back on March 11. I have had even less symptoms than she did. Basically last Wednesday I cut the yard and afterward had that blah feeling you get when you know you are coming down with a cold or a mild flu. My temp was slightly elevated. With the situation of our household, I went in to the Vanderbilt Walk-in to be tested. That took 4.5 hours of waiting during which I slept in the car. By the time they called me, my temp was normal. Since Thursday morning I have felt fine. Such an odd virus that makes some Folks so sick and some barely notice (fingers crossed nothing changes for me). Demographically, I am 50 (51 this coming Saturday ) in decent health. I was treated for Hodgkins Lymphoma back in 2001-2002 but I feel I am fully immune system recovered. I hope your friend is doing well and continues to do well. Remind them to set up their Myhealthatvanderbilt account to get their results.
  2. I think we are all getting a little too worked up here. Did I inadvertently stir the pot by saying (a bit tongue in cheek) that i should sell the ammo I just bought for profit, probably. i think we all might agree that A retailer raising ammo prices by 350% (A la CTD) is a bit over the top and price gouging. But also, if folks are willing to pay exorbitant prices for ammo, that is in them regardless of if it is retail or an auction. I don’t know about all of you, but I know my anxiety levels are on a roller coaster with all the news and crap and it effects my moods.
  3. CTD asking $35 for a box of 50 Tula 9mm, is price gouging, and taking advantage of folks in a panic and don’t know better. Folks bidding up a 1000round box of 9mm to $600 is supply and demand. Is it stupid for someone to pay that much, probably.
  4. Which problem is that? The buying ammo at a decent price problem? or The wishing I had enough to sell for a huge profit problem?
  5. Hell, at that price I may just put the 1000 rounds I just bought for $220 up for sale. Now I wish I had spent $660 last sat at Natchez Shooters Supply. (Not that i had the extra $440 in my “shooting fund”)
  6. Alpha Wolves have no need for toilet paper.
  7. Ah.
  8. CTD?
  9. Well if you want to let any go for a deal, let me know. 9mm or 45acp
  10. Well, I don’t keep THAT much ammo around that I could sell some at a gain. I just like to get a deal in Ammo.
  11. I tend to go through 2-300 rounds when I go to the range. I like shooting, I tend to shoot several different distances, and I will shoot all my pistols for practice. if there is a shortage for a bit, or if prices stay crazy, I would rather store cheaper ammo at my house rather than buy more expensive ammo.
  12. I made sure my daughter experienced that week she was younger.
  13. 1000 rounds received in the mail today.
  14. Just as soon as I am free of quarantine (March 30) I will be under a Shelter in Place Order.
  15. Mine is fine. Thanks for asking. She has not had symptoms since Monday. I was tested Wednesday because I ran a slight fever and have been living in a house that had a positive family member. I “should” have results today.
  16. Remember who told us that.
  17. I did not talk to anyone before going because they would not answer. I just went.
  18. They stopped taking new patients after about 1:30.
  19. Where are you located? The Vanderbilt Walk-in clinics are conducting the test. I went to the Melrose location yesterday. It did take about 4.5 hours. If you go, go early. Yesterday they said they tested about 90-95% of the patients. With the symptoms listed and flight travel, I would bet they will test you.
  20. What’s wrong with a white jumpsuit? Big collar, red white and blue stars.....
  21. Man I remember looking through those. You could buy anything. My best friend’s mom had a VW Beetle and we had all the parts picked out to make it a dune buggie.
  22. Welcome aboard
  23. The Allied answer for the MG42
  24. The Dow is only down 34% since Feb3. Time to buy in.
