  1. Dang it I over slept!
  2. Exactly!
  3. I hope I didn’t just mess up. I picked up my second lever action. Rossi 1892, stainless steel, 20” barrel, 44mag. Thanks Badshot57! I only think I might have messed up in that owning one lever action was Ok. But owning two lever actions seems like too few. I would post photos, but apparently I have exceeded my attachment limit of 2MB (by about 28MB).
  4. Clandestine grow house
  5. Looks like I am going with a stainless Rossi 92 with a 20” barrel. I’ll post pics once it’s in hand.
  6. Yikes
  7. Well, this is the South. We had our week of Fall, followed by the summer’s encore. Now cold and rain.
  8. I’ll trade on the box of S&B. PM inbound
  9. Should be cold this weekend
  10. While I do love raunchy comedy, Gallagher was always a laugh riot while staying (for the most part) family friendly.
  11. So, do I want a lever action with an octagonal barrel, or a lighter round barrel. This will most likely be a fun gun (for me) not necessarily a hike through the woods gun. But if I decided to let it go down the road, which would be more sought after?
  12. So are you going to badger me until I head over to the Armory and pay for a lane to shoot? Because it will probably work.
  13. Not yet. Unfortunately I don’t have a free place to easily go shoot. I need to get to a buddies farm.
  14. Well, when shooting subsonic suppressed, I would think a squib round (if that was the issue) might be hard to notice.
  15. On the old gun cleaning supply front, is this stuff any good (or still any good)? It was also in the shooting box
  16. Will a 9mm detonate Tannerite?
  17. well, I got an old shooting box from my FIL and it had supplies from back in the day. I thought the vintage oil and 22LR (and 22L) cartridges wold make for a neat photo with the old gun.
  18. Well, I would have jumped all over this Marlin. It’s the 44mag on GunOwneClub that is a little more than I have two spend. Third in line for this one.
  19. That’s a nice Marlin, but a little more than I have to spend.
  20. Come on. Someone wants to let a 44mag lever go to a new home, don’t they?
  21. This is a neat little gun to take apart. I took apart the forend and such, but not the back end. I need a tool to remove the stock nut to pull that apart the back end. I tried the carpenter’s pencil on the barrel rust first. The rust was just a little too much for it. It gave the rust a nice “blued” look. I went with the 0000 Wool and gun oil. That seemed to work better. Not too much, but enough to get it looking better. I did decide to hit the receiver just a touch to smooth it up a little.
