I had the PT140 Mill Pro 3rd Gen,worked flawlessly,but I didnt.I could'nt put the rounds on paper where I wanted,so I sold it and purchased a Springer XD45C,which works great for me.The Taurus never had malfunction 1 but my accuracy with it was not good.

Weaver and Millet both make good quality ring mounts with the dovetail clamps for 3/8.I have the Weaver and they work real well,I think I paid in the $30.00 price range.

I can sympathize with your feelings,a couple of years ago I also was trying to get back into the sport,only to find that a person needs a lot more than a rifle and a license,at the time a few of my buddies were trying to get me to opt into some hunting land with them only to find out I would need some awfull deep pockets for something I could only probably participate in twice a year,when I lived in my hometown my dad had 220 acres we could hunt anytime the season was open,boy when you have it that good you dont realize it till later.

I recently wrote Com-Tac and inquired about the Taurus with rail,I have the blue steel AR,they say at present they are not making the MTAC for the railed Taurus,I wanted to buy the shell and they said NOT.I havent found a OWB holster yet that is specifically made for one,the rail on the Taurus is larger than some others like the Kimbers.

I had one like it back around 1980,they are fine pistols,still wish I had it,they shot great.
