Been thinking for a long time it would be fun to have a pistol in 5.7x28 . So when. Palmetto State had the “blemish “ 5.7 Rock on sale for $399 I decided to jump in. I handled the Smith version but hated the grip feel and then the Ruger which was nice but went with the Rock because of the price. It also seems to have the best reviews. Got it a few days ago and love the feel of it. It came optics cut for a RMSc red dot and extended threaded barrel. Now to find some affordable ammunition. Lol. Any of you have something in 5.7? What’s your impressions?

Murfreesboro area? Gunshops, Mil-surp shops, places of interest?

Not sure how long he’s been there. I’ve stopped in there twice. First time about 6 months ago. Enjoyable visits , real friendly. Small place and not fancy. Thought hard about a nice CZ-27 pistol on the wall. -

Stop in Nomad American Arms gunsmith shop. 800 PARK AVE, SUITE E, Murfreesboro, TN Really nice guy to talk with and in the room to the right there is usually a selection of guns and stuff on consignment. -
How many “clips “ come with it? “And” do y’a got any “bullets” fer it?

Oh now that’s really sad. Poor little snake

I actually thought that myself but then when I did a little research on the price for custom engraving ($ 2,000 and up) I realized that wasn’t going to happen. Unless I find a talented student of the art that wants to give it a shot.

Still researching, haven’t decided yet. May try a few different things on some rusted pitted metal old tools and scraps of pitted metal and see what works best. I do think I want the end result to look like a military black or dark gray park.

My Dad has a blowtorch like roofers use . Used it in the gravel driveway and cracked sidewalks. Was always fun watching him. Wouldn’t recommend this on dry days or around the house.

My son and I removed his old package unit and set his new Goodman 4ton electric heat pump. We could probably wire it up ourselves but that would probably void the warranty. He’s checking around in Springfield/Cedar Hill for someone HVAC certified to wire it up and test it. I figured I would see if anyone here could do It and what a guess on the price should be. Thanks

Haha, me too!

Dang, I’m hungry already . Guess I’ll get a hotdog combo and soft pretzel at Sams today while I’m in Murfreesboro.

Forget Buc-ee’s , I’m looking forward to https://www.wtkr.com/news/in-n-out-burger-heading-east-restaurants-opening-in-tennessee?_amp=true Never been to one but have heard about them.

I stopped at the Crossville location. Like others said impressive but probably won’t stop by again. Had to try the brisket sandwich, which was very expensive in my opinion. But I’m used to the $5.50 huge sandwiches I get at Top Hog BBQ in Gallatin. My favorite is the catfish sandwich. Have to admit I was in awe of the bathroom. Their employees do seem to enjoy working there.

I was doing a roof repair at MidTn Ford Monday and the wind was nuts.

Yeah I was thinking about trying a Duracoat product. A dark military parkerized kind of look maybe. There’s no collector value to worry about at this point.

Thanks, I was just planning on using the 22lr inserts until I find some 22Jet. Would be great if you did find a few laying around.

Any of you ever had one? I’m getting one from a friend dirt cheap. This one has spent it’s life as a tackle box - tool box gun. It’s had a hard life but functions good with a good bore.
