  1. While that lord of war thing looks cool it's far from accurate
  2. I took a carbine class recently - not my first - I must say the pmags performed flawlessly the ones with the windows are very practical even in low light you can tell if you need to do tac load these mags are great
  3. I followed this show across 3 networks back in the day, it kind of goes down hill as it gets long in the tooth I much prefer stargate the series but it definitely has its moments
  4. Make sure it functions in your gun, make sure it is accurate in your gun, practice enough that you are accurate with your chosen weapon - shot placement, shot placement, shot placement, shot placement! BTW currently golden saber .45 230 gn & if I was buying a snubbie I would preffer the .357 even if i only shot .38 through it as it will be built stronger.
  5. link does not work for me
  6. Rumor has it that he was actually born in Africa!
  7. Hate to hear that I've been layed off for 4 weeks in the last 2 months, its been 11 years since I have been layed off, things are slow everywhere I have been looking around myself. I am a design engineer with an air & water purification company in east Tn but use solid edge everyday designing sheet metal & injection molded parts I have seen several solid works/autocad jobs but none were anywhere near here. If I see anything near nashvegas I'll send you a link. I would appreciate it if you would send me anything related you see in the Greeneville, Johnson city, Morristown area.

    Bows

I have great interest in bows although I have never really had much hands on, I found this on you tube some time ago I thought it was a world of information especially when he starts talking about non center shot bows vs. center shot & arrow rigidity. I think I would prefer a compund although not for hunting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sc2dxuYd31I&feature=channel I think there are 4 parts to this
  9. Farman - yes I do, more so when they are getting what they deserve!
  10. I voted that I shoot whenever I want, there are exceptions to that, there are 2 ranges that I shoot at that have churches nearby we don't shoot til church lets out at those ranges.
  11. First don't be oblivious his partner is gonna cap you in the back of the scull as soon as you move!
  12. My condolences on the ruger P95 that sh#t is uglier than a glock! Just kidding I don’t know about # 1 but http://www.handgunlaw.us/ is a good reference for #2.
  13. Yeah thats practical http://www.laserlyte.com/New_Products/New_PB_1.html
  14. JIMINEZ ARMS JA9 9mm 2 12 Rd MAGS 189.95 http://garysguns.us/page/18jee/HANDGUNS.html
  15. If the cats were doing thier job there would be no other critters!
  16. B.S. that dude should be the first recipient of a cock transplant donated by the doctor
  17. I honestly think there is a large percentage of people out there who are too stupid to clean a gun, I had a guy show me how he cleaned his guns, he took a cleanex tissue tied a nylon string around it & pulled it through the bore 2 maybe 3 times & said that about does it.
  18. very rapid semi auto fire burns up barrels, careful aimed fire for groups should not produce excessive heat - competition guns go for several thousand rounds on a barrel & then we are talking about people trying to shoot 1 moa or better, hunting or combat accuracy will go more than that, keeping the barrel clean will be much more of a factor.
  19. I doubt there are any P.D.s that don't issue Hollow points even N.Y. city it's not that you say the local pd uses them so there, you need to know what brand & load they carry & use that if you want to push that argument. The gun that I carry most of the time breaks at 6.5 lbs. I agree that there is no magic bullet - shot placement, shot placement, & shot placement.
  20. Some people are that stupid, someone I know was asking myself & another guy I know why his car wouldn't start so we were asking him all sorts of dumba$$ questions just to see what he knew, we asked him if he had checked the antifreeze - it was summer by the way, & he replied that he had checked it & it was green. woo hoo - For fun this guy would dress up in chain mail & beat on other knights of the brilliant table with rattan sticks! It is true some people shouldn’t own guns!
  21. Whoopee my whole dept. is layed off for at least a month, things are tight, ho freakin ho. just hope I have a job come next year. But your right the elite management crew wont miss a bonus!
  22. Local Guard Recruitment I went to the local a few years back they were advertising for members in the local paper, half the reason I went was because they were offering a cpr course that night for anyone who showed- I was not impressed & apparently they weren’t either, they didn’t even bother to mail me the cpr cert card.
  23. Unless I missed it no one mentioned Young Guns 1 & 2
  24. At a gun show on a table littered with what I could only describe as scrap metal I saw an FIE Hombre frame it looked like it might have been tied to the rear of an across country bus for a few trips but you could still make out the FIE mark on it. I thought it might make a good paperweight, as I could use it to explain what an awesome company FIE was & how no gun collection could be complete without one – LOL. I was fully prepared to go upwards of $1.98 for this prize but the shrewd businessman manning the table knew what a prize he had as he exclaimed $25.00 & not one penny less. Alas my papers go un-weighted to this day.
