Would a battery powered windmill power it’s self?

You do realize he is not longer in office, right? Are we going to continue to blame everything bad that happens on him in perpetuity, or will there eventually be an expiration date?

What a cool winter project.

I patched it up with rubber gas line and hose clamps. I wouldn’t take it on a trip, but it’ll work til the part gets shipped.

There’s a fox squirrel that also keeps dragging the grease tray out from under my gas grill. If he hasn’t dies of gas poisoning, I’ll get him with lead poisoning next time I see him.

I’d prefer to mechanic, Erik, but I sincerely appreciate the suggestion.

I went to put my utility trailer back in the shed, cranked the truck, and thought "I smell gasoline." Got out and looked under the truck, and it looked like I'd parked on top of a sprinkler system. That ain't good for the environment, nor my wallet. After banging on various muffler, driveshafts, etc. with my head, I finally maneuvered into a position where I could see the problem. Looks like a squirrel or some critter had gnawed a hole in part of the gas line. It isn't just regular old rubber gas line. It is a very specific, Toyota only fitting that no one around here has in stock. I finally found one on the interwebz and ordered it. Just in time for the "bomb cyclone" coming tonight. LOL! A few months back, while replacing an injector on another truck, I discovered the wires goin to it were gnawed in two. Looks like I'm dealing with my own invasion out here in the sticks. The war is on!

You’re likely correct. I do not know how long the cylinder is for a 2.5” Judge. I do know you can chamber a 3” 20 gauge shell in a 2-3/4” chamber. You can also chamber a 2-3/4” in a 2-1/2” chamber. A 1/2” difference might be pushing it. My father was having a similar issue to yours with 3” 410 shells in a short chambered handgun, but it was a hand built gun and not a factory production model. That’s what I was thinking about.

I don’t mean to insult your intelligence, but is the revolver marked with a 3” designation? Could you post a pic? If so, I’d damned sure be contacting the manufacturer of that ammunition. In the pic, it appears the shell almost came apart about an inch up from the head. Had it came loose and ate do in your barrel, the next time you pulled the trigger would have been a memorable experience.

I cannot confirm this, but have been told that if everything went perfectly, it would take more than 50 years just to get the proper permits to begin construction of a nuclear plant.

Me too, brother. I never missed the day through the pandemic. I was declared an essential worker, and had the paperwork to support it, but never received one extra nickel for doing so.

I agree. What I see is politicians and pushing electric cars and no one pushing to beef up the electric grid to support them. The former will be a disaster without the latter. I’m not against electric cars as long as we can use them.

I agree about nuclear, but: How long does it take from deciding to build a nuclear plant until it is on line? How many here have seen a new nuclear power plane under construction near them? Do we currently have the electric production capacity to both supply the explosion of new houses being built here in Tennessee, AND the added strain of millions of folks recharging cars every evening? Just like food doesn’t just come from the grocery store, electricity doesn’t just magically come from the wall plug. I know you get this, but it scares the hell out of me how many people don’t.

That’s all I can figure.

How much money was printed during the pandemic? (No need to point out who was responsible for this. I’m painfully aware.)
