  1. You have the coolest toys!
  2. Glad I did it. You could sink a wide track dozier in it today.
  3. All I did was turn mine. I won't do anything else til probably May.
  4. Finally dry enough to turn the garden spot.
  5. If you want one, bite the bullet and plunk down the cash for a nice one. They aren’t getting any cheaper, and you won’t ever regret buying quality.
  6. SKSs were $49-59. I still have a 1000 rounds or a Norinco ammo for them. It came in an ammo can for $100 out the door. I’ve a couple of SKSs. Wish I had bought more.
  7. Time travel back to the early 90’s. Gun shows were full of them stacked high on tables. Take your pick…$150.
  8. I expect they put a lot of ad money into sponsoring competitors. At least that’s how the music industry works. I have had good luck with their stuff too; especially for the money. I’m a PSA fan.
  9. Palmetto State holds a 10% share of the carbines. Interesting.
  10. Anybody in the market for a nice, low miles Suzuki Boulevard S40 (650 Savage)? My kid has one he’s going to get rid of once the weather clears up. He moved up to a Sportster.
  11. I agree with JustEd. If I do my part, I like to be rewarded with a round hole in the target, sitting directly on the top of where the front sight was. Handgun manufacturers have been able to reliably make this happen for centuries now.
  12. Load the same load, one with a magnum primer and one wit a regular primer and shoot them over a chronograph. That should somewhat answer your question.
  13. A 22lr conversion kit?
  14. Wouldn’t they fit?
  15. I expect there’s a market for those if you have access to cheap wood and enjoy making them.
  16. Golsn.com has a few. You might stumble across a deal, and if you do, you have to say “I’ll take it!” and head that way immediately. You’re more likely to buy a $1500 bike and spend another $1500 getting it ready to ride. The good thing about a nice one is there isn’t any trouble getting rid of it later if you decide it isn’t what you want.
  17. Can you get a Ural without a sidecar? Looking at their website, it doesn't appear so. Did I read correctly that one model features on demand 2 wheel drive? That's wild!
  18. I think they are mostly 4 strokes these days, Erik.
  19. Much like a fish and ski boat, I never found a do it all motorcycle that did anything well. Your mileage may vary, Erik.
  20. I just rode mine a while. It’s still a bit cool, but tolerable.
  21. I wouldn’t mind riding, but I expect I’m a pretty long ride just to get to where you guys are.
  22. Nice bikes!
  23. Get after it! Be sure and show us when you do.
  24. That takes a while....especially if you're like me and like to eat.
  25. From start to finish, I think it took about three days. There is several hours of hand stitching there. It took a lot of dye too. I’ll buy pre dyed leather if I make a pair of saddlebags.
