  1. I love the full length stock!
  2. Should work splendidly.
  3. I do too, but this rifle and my muzzleloader gets most of the serious work.
  4. Aw hell, c’mon…let’s see her!
  5. I found a few pics of some of mine. Sure brings back some good memories. Let's see yours. 1993 Dodge D250. Only new vehicle I ever bought. 1979 AMF Harley Davidson Sportster. I loved this bike. The girls did too! 1967 Chevy II Nova. My ride through most of high school. Sure wish I had it back. 1971 Plymouth Barracuda. 60k original miles. My first car. Bought it when I was 14. I sure wish I had this back, but you just can't keep em all.
  6. Here's mine. A Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Classic in 280 Remington. It's killed a LOT of deer since I bought it 30+ years ago. Show me yours.
  7. Have mercy! That thing looks like they just made it. The crispness of the stampings tells me it hasn't been refinished.Wow!
  8. When you mold a holster, you wet it first. After it's molded to a gun, you allow it to dry. It will shrink a bit during the drying process, making it a very tight fit when new. I've never had one tight enough you couldn't put a gun in it at all. Looking at your picture again, it appears to me the boning (molding) around the top of the grip is substantially higher than the top of the grip of your pistol. I suspect that holster was made for a different gun. I guess that could have been done to clear an oversized ambi safety? Your Sig wouldn't happen to have an accessory rail under the dust cover would it? That might be the problem.
  9. No, that isn't good. Unless you can use some force and cram it in there to where it should go, you probably want to take it back where you bought it.
  10. That’s how the sights were designed to be regulated. The front sight is made tall. Pick your load and file to correct height. I always liked the speed loaders for loading loose powder in the field. They also hold your projectile and cap as well. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1015808136?pid=361345 Round balls are great for plinking and target shooting, but I feel an expanding, conical projectile is superior for deer hunting. Something like a lead Great Plains bullet or even a pistol bullet and sabot.
  11. I imagine antiseize will work, but it’s a mess if you aren’t careful. A light coat of grease on the threads will allow easy removal.
  12. True collectors are an odd lot. If that simple screwdriver completed all the original items for a like new, in the box Registered Magnum or Triple Lock, It would be quite a bargain at twice that price. I'm surprised that aren't counterfeited at an alarming rate, as that is something most any clown with a small metal lather or Smithy machine could recreate. Even the original corrosion inhibiting paper that originally came in the box can add big bucks to a sure enough collector specimen. It looks to me like I have most everything I'm interested in having and am willing to pay for.
  13. Screwdriver insanity I guess I'm done collecting if this is the future.
  14. Or overtightened the stock screw.
  15. It is a neat collection nonetheless.
  16. A good neighbor is a blessing. A bad one is a curse.
  17. Right. This needs changing.
  18. Is this a complete collection of P series pistols? If so, that’s pretty cool, and probably a pretty good investment. If not, how many are you missing?
  19. I’m not sure why mentally ill is freely roaming around in public.
  20. This confounded me as well.
  21. That’s how you want it. The leather will stretch a bit with use and fit perfectly.
  22. Perhaps, but it wasn’t very good for public relations.
  23. We're gonna need some pictures of this! How long is the barrel? Crescent butt plate?
  24. How do they propose to enforce this? I’m glad I’m not charged with that duty.
  25. I always thought the P series pistols were neat, but I’ve never owned one. Should have grabbed a couple back when they were cheap and plentiful. Looks like you got a nice one there. Congratulations.
