  1. There ain’t nothing serious about me. I did think it funny my wife saw the same pic I did at about the same time in totally different places.
  2. You have deceived. Wife just showed me a meme of this pic on Facebook. I did think that was a mighty thick table top.
  3. Nice work on the Tele, but I sure hope that was the old table!
  4. Or the guy helping his uncle Jack off his horse. Capitalization is just as pressing an issue.
  5. You are a retired English teacher I presume. Hell will be full of them.
  6. You’re more than welcome to use mine, but I’d wager you can get it done in town cheaper and easier than you could make the drive up to Macon County.
  7. All you need is a wrench and a crush washer. I'm sure the nice folks at The Reloader's Bench would be happy to do it for you.
  8. Ain't much better than a good dog.
  9. Crescent buttplates are pretty, but abusive on a rifle that has heavy recoil.
  10. Starwood Ampitheater. I have a lot of good memories from that place. .
  11. That rifle appears to be drilled and tapped for a receiver sight. Providence makes a repro of the old Lyman 21 “climbin’ Lyman. To my eye, this would look “right” on your rifle, and you wouldn’t need to go drilling extra holes on such a fine specimen. Just something to consider.
  12. It’s often a family/neighbor affair here when we shoot, and they have standards.
  13. I am a cynical SOB, so I agree, but sure hope I’ll be proven wrong.
  14. Buy the 99 Savage in the classifieds and have a gunsmith thread it. You’ll have an awesome and unique rifle.
  15. These are about as much fun as you can legally have with your pants on. This sure looks like a nice one! Good luck with sale.
  16. Rest assured that wasn’t their intention, but I expect you’re correct. He’d make a good piñata at the next NRA convention.
  17. If you don’t have any luck here, I really like Xtreme plated bullets.
  18. That’s me, except it’s in fast forward.
  19. I laid in bed last night with the picture of a guitar neck in my head and scales running through it. I may be over doing it a bit.
  20. I sure wish I had kept better notes through the years. A small notebook for each caliber would be awesome. Unfortunately, my lazy hind end failed to do this, and now my memory isn't what it once was. I hope this thread might be of some use to new folks starting down the reloading rabbit hole. Keep em coming, folks!
  21. Thanks for sharing. Those are interesting, and you are a better gun writer than many who make a living at it.
