  1. I dug out and old pre 34 I forgot I had and shot it for the first time today. That little thing it a hoot!
  2. I don’t own a safe queen. I’m an accumulator, not a collector.
  3. ^^^Here’s a man who likes model 19s!^^^ I thought I had a problem. Lol
  4. Were I selling it, I’d price it high and see what happened. You can always drop the price until it sells. The 19 is definitely in demand, and many people, myself included, would prefer an affordable example they can shoot rather than a new in box revolver they can only sit and look at.
  5. Sorry if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. You see big prices on the internet, and collectors are paying those prices for pristine examples. If you have the original grips, you can add another $100 or so.
  6. It looks a little rough from what I can tell in the pics. Assuming it’s mechanically sound, I’d guess $500-600. Were it in really good condition, I’d double that. I have a pair of them with 4” barrels in similar condition. I paid $300 apiece, but that’s been a while. They are good shooters. Just one man’s opinion. Let’s hear what others say.
  7. It appears we have a new resident thread excavator. This one was started 7 years ago. Probably why the pic no longer exists.
  8. I don’t claim to be an expert, but whatcha got?
  9. If you can find it, get a copy of the movie he was in: “Beer For My Horses”. It isn’t an Emmy award winner, but it’s entertaining and funny as all get out.
  10. One of the few things I would like to buy from China. Not available here. Thanks .gov!
  11. I just buy what I want/need. I very seldom give any thought to where it was made. I’d rather not buy crap made in China, but that would require a lot more effort than I’m willing to put in it.
  12. Mine too, but I can measure and saw 2x4s and screw them together. They are in the basement, so the don’t have to look pretty.
  13. I See it now. In my mind, I was trying to make the spout a handle. Thanks.I
  14. Did Bill Anderson have a hand in this, or was it just coincidence?
  15. $248 for 150 rounds of 357 Mag?!!? Wow!
  16. They’d make up for it coasting off the next hill!
