  1. Figure out everything you are gonna need for the next 50 years, double it, and go buy it.
  2. I’m liking that! $399 at PSA??! Unbelievable!
  3. The same reason I have to buy a boat registration and then pay at the dock to launch said boat. And pay gas tax on the fuel burned in said boat although it has never touched a road. You gotta pay your fair share, man!
  4. Plastic coffee jugs make great stackable storage containers for brass and even loaded ammo!
  5. I will only have one container of powder on my bench at a time. The rest is in a cabinet out of sight and out of reach. I NEVER leave powder in the powder measure. Quick as I’m finished, back in the container and to the cabinet it goes. I just don’t have the memory to do otherwise.
  6. I’ve not progressed beyond a single stage. I clean, size, and prep cases in batches, and store them until such time I want to reload them. I’ll then charge one case, grab a bullet, and load that round. Repeat. I realize this isn’t the most efficient way to do it, but it works for me. I know they’d be handy, but I’ve never owned a reloading tray.
  7. I wouldn't mind the alert were it close to home. I just don't need to wake up and learn Grandpa got lost coming home from the Elk's club in Carroll County. I have a Ring camera, and the app for it notifies us of local things. I like that.
  8. I do not mean to diminish the gravity of the situation. What I'm saying is that an old man asleep in the bed in Macon County can't do much to help it.
  9. Mine learned better today. She went with me to Cabelas. I tried to distract her while the lady rang up my total. It didn’t work.
  10. You can do that? I thought you just had to live with it. It would be nice if I could turn on an option “stuff I really need to know”, but it IS the government we’re dealing with here.
  11. What Darrell said. I do not believe you are screwing the die into the press far enough. As my wife often reminds me “When all else fails, read the instructions!”
  12. New sellers also won’t command the prices established sellers with good feedback will realize.
  13. If the dies were preowned, it could be the previous owner replaced the sizing balls with larger ones for loading cast bullets. Without actually seeing the stuff in person, I'm just spitballing.
  14. Is you die screwed into the press until it touches the shellholder when all the way to the top? Did you acquire all these sizing dies used? Could someone have altered them? If your expander balls all measure .220" and your die is adjusted properly so that the expander ball goes through the neck of the case and the neck goes all the way up into the sizing die, You should have a pretty snug interference fit between a .224" bullet and a .220" case neck. Are you lubing your cases and making sure you pull the handle all the way to the bottom? It takes a fair amount of force to run a bottleneck case through a sizing die? Sorry if those seem like dumb questions, but I do not know what you know and am just trying to weed out the obvious?
  15. Be sure to look at completed auctions when comparing prices on Gunbroker. Otherwise, you are just seeing somebody's wild dream if you are looking at starting bids that never will be made. Also consider fees, shipping, ffl transfers, ect.
  16. I bet for the right "adoption fee" he'd do just that.
  17. It appears new! Good luck with sale.
  18. I’ll say I loved and admired the man.
  19. You’d think they’d be concerned with an employee’s ability and what they produce rather than where they live.
  20. I can’t imagine where he lives would have anything to do with what he’s paid considering he’s working remotely. That’s bullchit.
  21. I dug out and old pre 34 I forgot I had and shot it for the first time today. That little thing it a hoot!
  22. I don’t own a safe queen. I’m an accumulator, not a collector.
  23. ^^^Here’s a man who likes model 19s!^^^ I thought I had a problem. Lol
