  1. I do. Flat point FMJ.
  2. My wife said something similar, and me being me, took the other side of the coin. Many of the subdivisions and trailer parks destroyed by tornadoes today were hay fields, cow pastures, or wooded land in our youth. Tornadoes passed through them occasionally, but it was covered 24/7 on the news TV and internet. Also, instead of destroying peoples' homes and lives, it might have knocked a squirrel nest out of a tree.
  3. And either would likely be better for fighting than the average handgun.
  4. I assume everyone here realizes a 380 ACP projectile and a 9mm Mauser projectile make the exact same diameter hole, right?
  5. $3000 minumum right now.
  6. A co worker's brother who lived in Cave City, Kentucky was shot something like 26 times by police with 9mms several years back. Far as I know, he's still walking around. You never really know.
  7. Advertise it here in the classifieds. Is it something special, or just a common year/mint, etc? If you look at ebay, Ampex, etc, you'll find a pretty wide spread between spot price and the price of some rare examples. Of course, condition is important as well. Heck, I'd buy it if the price is right. It really depends on how much effort and research you want to put into selling it, and how much you want to get out of it. Unless it's worn smooth, the floor is $3000+ right now.
  8. I carry a 380, but I'm not a professional gunfighter like most internet forum guys. I shot for my HCP with a 22 revolver. I'm pretty thrifty too.
  9. Where in the world have you been?
  10. I've noticed a plethora of mil surp rifles in the classifieds here recently. Prices are dictated by what the market will currently bear, not what we wish they were. $300 ain't gonna get you far unless you own a time machine.
  11. You'd be mony ahead to simply buy a revolver with an unfluted cylinder. I think there's more to it than a simple swap.
