  1. What was wrong with the Ford if you don’t mind me asking?
  2. You get me! I think music appreciation is a math nerd’s domain. My wife hears the words of a song, and maybe the beat. This frustrates me as there is so much more involved one can appreciate.
  3. If you learn a bit about the science behind the music, you will hear music in a whole new way. It is well worth the effort in my opinion, even if you do not intend to learn how to play an instrument .
  4. My man! Let someone else pay for the vehicle you drive.
  5. In its infinite wisdom, .gov decided to ban importation of Chinese and Russian ammo.
  6. I just pay the fee and enjoy myself. Cheaper than golf or chasing women.
  7. I remember that. Hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I ground and froze 20 pounds of breakfast sausage today. I’d rather grind an elephant than clean up afterword.
  9. Circle of fifths. What a concept! Why the hell did none of my music teachers introduce me to this? I was taught to read music, but I learn much better when I learn WHY.
  10. When I see "Florida man", I usually find it worth my time to stop and read it.
  11. Killing me! I’d be all over this if I didn’t already have one. If you’ve ever wanted a genuine target 22 revolver, you’ll never have a better chance than this. These things are amazing works of art that will surely only appreciate in value.
  12. As a child, I learned to be a passable piano player, a beginner trumpet player, and a so so guitarist. Years went by and now I’ve no idea how to play a piano or trumpet anymore, but can barely get by with a guitar. I’ve been watching Marty Schwartz YouTube videos to brush up on guitar. He is awesome, by the way, if you’d like to learn guitar. A couple of episodes touched on music theory, which I was never taught at all, and it has me captivated. I know we have musicians among us. Is there a seminal book or program that explains music theory in a way my tiny brain can comprehend it?
  13. I didn’t actually put rice in the red beans and sausage. It did turn out good. Instead of beef, I got a deer roast out of the freezer and we canned venison stew. It turned out really good as well. So far, we’ve batted 1000 on the canning. Everything had been good. Green beans, pintos, purple hills, tomato sauce, various pickles, deer roast, etc. My wife wants to try breakfast sausage next. Her grandmother canned it and she always liked it.
  14. Cool! I could never have predicted that.

  16. I think perhaps you have confused the setup procedure for the sizing die and the bullet seating die. They are different. Sizing die: The recapping pin should be protruding from the bottom of the die about 1/8” or so. Put shellholder in the press and lower the ram all the way with no case in it. While holding the ram all the way down, screw the sizing die into the press until you feel it contact the shellholder. Screw it in another 1/2 turn and lock it in place with the lock ring nut. It is now correctly adjusted. Lightly lube the body to f your case and case mouth. Do not lube the shoulder of the case. Put it in the shellholder and lower the ram all the way. This will take more force than a straight walled pistol case. Wipe the lube off the case with a rag, trim the case to the proper length chamfer the case mouth inside and out. You should not need to crimp the case. The tension from the case neck and long bullet is more than sufficient to hold it in place. This procedure is different from straight walled pistol cases I gather you’ve loaded before. Failure to lube bottle necked cases will result in a case stuck in your sizing die. Not fun.
  17. I am pretty sure that is because it isn’t adjusted correctly.
  18. Your seating die isn’t the issue. The sizing die is the problem. I would very strongly recommend you get a commercially produced reloading manual and read it. Also, read the instructions for your dies, particularly the part that pertains to adjusting the SIZING die.
  19. That's tiny for a 380. It sure is an interesting design. Have you been able to source a safety lever?
  20. At some point our justice system should be held accountable.
