I remember being dragged to Bowling Green by my mother and her mother to go get stuff with them. I wasn’t real impressed with that store.

I use the fry daddy on a regular basis. I wasn’t aware they were no longer in style. Now the hot air popcorn poppers sucked. They popped corn alright, but then you just had styrofoam. Salt wouldn’t stick to the dry popcorn. It was inedible.

When was the last time you received a collect call? I remember making a collect call to the office years ago. The man who always answered the phone was nearly deaf. He kept telling the operator “Greg’s not here!” Lol.

I ruffled the french fries a few times last night while cooking them to get all sides browned and crispy. They weren't bad, and definitely less greasy than fry daddy fries. Using less oil probably has a health benefit which I'm not so concerned about, but it should also provide an economic benefit. Canola oil isn't cheap any more!

When frying in a skillet, I found the secret to a great grilled cheese was to slather the outside of the bread with Duke's mayonnaise before cooking. What do you put on the bread in the air fryer?

I hadn't thought about hot dogs. I bet they would work out great.

My wife is economy minded.

I dunno. Wife bought this one for $5 on Facebook. I cooked French fries in it today. Worked out ok. You wouldn’t make a living cooking with it, but for me and her, we’ll probably put some miles on it. I think I’ll try broccoli in it tomorrow.

Wife picked up one of these today and got us into the 21st century I reckon. So far, I made boiled eggs in it to see if tit worked. It did. What do you guys like to cook in your air fryer, and how do you go about it? Looks to me like stuff you’d cook in a fry daddy would benefit from this for being less greasy. Other than that, what else do I need to know? I have faith in you guys.

Tumbling: Lizard bedding from a pet store is much cheaper than comparable corn cob media sold at a reloading store. A squirt of NuFinish car polish in the media really shines up the brass. A used dryer sheet thrown into the tumbling process extends the life of your media by keeping it cleaner.

Lol! This led to building mama more shelves to store canned goods. A trophy husband’s job is never done!

Wish I had the space for it. That would definitely be one to put up for posterity. Very nice!!!
