You mean the flash hole that the flash travels through to ignite the powder and not the primer pocket where the primer sits, correct? If so, load it up and fire away. You may find the primer pockets a bit tight with Federal primers. CCI primers will solve that problem.

Gun bans coming to some social security recipients
gregintenn replied to Sam1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The ONLY thing the federal government can and should do to create jobs is to get the hell out of the way, eliminate most regulations, cooperate taxes, fees, licenses, etc., and let the economy thrive on it's own merit. Where the president stands on issues like the second amendment, abortion, et tal, is a good barometer of his character and morality or lack thereof. -
My concern is that this can easily be taken advantage of. I do agree something needs to change; I'm just not sure what exactly.

Gun bans coming to some social security recipients

I felt like we agreed. Now I know. As it seems, the freeloaders now outnumber the producers. I see no rectifying the situation short of a government collapse and a new government installed. This won't be pretty. -
I love it! If we can't laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at? A lot of people take everything way too seriously today. Let's face it......stereotypical humor is just plain funny.

How would you propose this happens?

I have a bunch of the Berry's 100 grainers too. They seem to work well, but I believe they are about as big a bullet as needs to be in a 380.

I agree, but tell me this.....what have the Republicans done any differently? -

I'm not sure how high the violent crime rate is with our senior citizens, but I can't believe it's a big concern. :shake: :shake: Guys, our country is run by fools. -
What's the best 22 Hornet & it's Hunting Applications?
gregintenn replied to Sidewinder's topic in Long Guns
I've no experience with that particular rifle. I am a Savage fan, however, and have yet to own one that wasn't accurate. -
I've never sold a gun to a fellow named Muhammed. Call me prejudiced but I probably never will.

My grandfather would have greeted his second call with an air horn blown into the phone speaker.

If you like a light rifle, keep an eye out for a vintage Winchester model 43. If you prefer a heavier rifle, a pre 64 Model 70 Winchester can't be beat. Better be prepared to shell out some cash though. -
No different than leaving it on said rifle.

Kentucky's gun laws are basically don't shoot anything that don't need shootin'. Bowling Green is a pretty nice town.

My hat's off to the officer or officers who helped arrange this clown's meeting with Allah.

I remember Phil Valentine stating several years back that one day soon there will be too classes of people; those who are not politically correct, and those who are dead. I thought it was humorous at the time. Lately, it crosses my mind a lot and isn't funny anymore.

What is "Bull****", Alex? :wall:  I found myself speculating pretty early on.

It seems like these "random acts" are becoming less and less random. :shake:

In Tennessee, it is illegal, for some reason, to hunt small game with a center fire cartridge; excepting shotguns of course. A 22 Hornet works great, as does a 38 Special wadcutter; but they aren't a legal means of doing so. It would be quite the turkey popper as well, but again, no dice in Tennessee.

I'm betting it would feed as is. I don't have a tok sizing die, or I'd make up a round and try it for you. I have a 32-20 Smith and Wesson hand ejector. It works fine, but I could see some bottleneck cartridges sticking in a revolver cylinder. I think results were mixed with the 22 Jet. The 32-20 is a fun cartridge, but cases are fragile and hard to come by. This idea does away with both those problems.

I have a bunch of 100 grain half jacket bullets that would be made to order for this.

You're picking them too quick. They'll turn. Seriously, I do find that pepper plants in general grow well in poor soil. Why do you think they're so popular in Mexico? B)
