1. Put an AR together and shoot it. Don't overthink the headspace.
2. I have a Chevy, and in the past, I've had Fords, Dodges, etc. My son now drives a Toyota. The Toyota gets the nod from my past experiences. I've heard good reports from Nissans as well.
3. This farm was his parents'. His mother died several years back, and his father before that. This man was mentally impaired. I'm relatively certain he wouldn't have had a will. On the tax map, it lists his deceased parents' names, and "in care of" blah blah nursing home.   His next of kin would be some cousins. He had no close family left.
4. I always thought I'd like one, but when I was looking for an AR, I never found one for sale. Now I have a pile of AR's (not sure how that happened), and I don't guess I need another.   Short of putting one together yourself, I doubt you'd do much better for the price than the S&W Sport.
5. My neighbor passed away about three weeks ago. He spent several years in a nursing home, and I expect they have a lien on his farm. Is there a standard process for them to sell it and get their money? I'm not real educated on estate probate. I just want a chance at purchasing this property. I haven't seen a probate notice for him yet.   Is there anyone in particular I should ask about this? Will it sell at public auction?   Any insight you may have will be greatly appreciated.
6. Mine has no safety and a little kitty cat on it. I really like it, but would trade it for a pre safety Marlin in a heartbeat.
7. A lower buck limit makes for better quality bucks; not necessarially more bucks. With lower limits, people will be more selective, and therefore the bucks are allowed to mature before harvest.
8. Or piano....or pool table.
9. You saved some aggravation and five bucks. It's a good building to have a show. Plenty of people there. All that was lacking was vendors.
10. ........was a turd. I wish we could have a decent gun show within reasonable driving distance from the Nashville area.
11. You do realize that sometimes the criminal is wearing a badge?
12. I rarely get tomatoes before July. Last year, however, I did have some in mid to late June.
13. Liberty makes the best safes.
14. I planted my garden yesterday. There's no hurry; especially for tomato plants. If you plant tomatoes in February, and pretending frost doesn't get them, they won't be any larger today than they were when you planted them. Tomatoes do not grow until the ground gets to a certain temperature.
15. You know what? Screw the rest of the country! I've seen the rest of the country, and we've got a good thing going on here in the South. Been to California lately?
16. If more people were honest as you, the world would be a much better place. Thank you for your service, and thank you for being a contributing member here. I get sick of police here whining because they get a bit of criticism, which is usually not directed at them in the first place. Police are people. Some of them are simply sorry. That's the way it is. Stick up for them, and you'll likely be lumped into the same category as them.   People of other professions get criticized as well. Some deserve it; some don't. That's life.   You sir, have my respect, for what it's worth. I wish there were more with your point of view.
17. I like shooting things I can eat: Deer, turkeys, squirrels, rabbits, etc.
18. Ouch! Here's the real problem.
19. I tried this method with some ancient 303 Savage brass. I still had about every other one split a neck in the sizing die. Maybe I didn't do something right.
20. It says Saturday special, up to $1500, but I still got it today. Seems like good prices there for plated bullets.
21. Yes! Last October, I got covered with poison ivy. A day or two after getting a shot and taking the pills, I lost not only the poison ivy rash, but also the pain in my elbow and in my lower back running down my leg.   As I said, this was the first part of last October, and none of these has returned.
22. I still have the Hunter's Safety Course card too. Also, there's still a "Get Out OF Jail Free" Monopoly card in there from my youth. So far I haven't had to whip it out, but a guy's gotta be prepared, right?   We are indeed about the same age. I'll be 42 in July.
23. Probably a good cleaning and lube would help the slide to operate properly. Assuming it's in a dovetail slot, you can drift the rear sight with a hammer and punch.
24. I registered on July 19th, 1991. I still have the card in my pocket.
25. Save up, or keep what ya got.
