I dread it every year. It is the occasion to gather with people you are thankful you don't have to gather with the rest of the year.

I've had good luck with LG tvs as well.

Don’t shoot it, or you will decide not to sell it. They are almost magical! -

That’s where I got my last bag. Since then, Piggly Wiggly started carrying it. Thanks! -
I missed it. Daughter in Law graduated from MTSU today. That took priority. It’s usually a pretty good show.

What rig & accoutrements would you recommend?
gregintenn replied to GGALLIN's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I would recommend buying a reloading manual and reading it before purchasing anything else. Some people pop pop Lee products, but I have always found they work well at a fraction of the price of their competitors. In fact, I would buy Lee dies over other brands if they were all the same price, because I prefer the way they are designed. I prefer a single stage press for a beginner because of its simplicity. In fact, I still load on one exclusively, and I’ve been at it for almost ver 40 years. What part of the state are you in? There might be someone here on the forum near you who’s willing to help you get started. -
Yeah. There’s one in Murfreesboro.
-
I’d buy them….were they available locally. I have some Wolf primers that work fine, but haven’t seen any for sale in a looooong time.
-
Gotcha! It was really a loaded question. No pun intended.

Shoot a carcass, pumpkin, etc. with a 9mm and then with a 220 Swift and see what each does. You just might be surprised.

I’m pretty cynical. I’d like to see the actual text of recent government contracts. I believe this was planned one way or another. You are spot on that it does retailers no good. I’m not so sure about Vista.
-
Right. You’ve seen prices double or triple though. Scarcity tends to do that. I’m thinking there isn’t any real shortage, just an updated business model. It seems like retailers would be pizzed were that the case, but what are they to do? Vista Outdoors has gobbled up just about all the shooting related companies. I thought there were antitrust and monopoly laws against this type practice. However, it would please .gov to see a decline in the shooting sports, so here we are.
-
I disagree. Pistols usually do less damage because they shoot a SLOWER bullet.
-
Have you considered we haven’t seen fully stocked shelves since before the last great American component panic? I think it is a new business model. Nobody’s paying 100/1000 for primers when there are cases of them stacked to the ceiling, but set out one box at a time and folks line up for them.
-
Self fulfilling prophesy. Everybody run to Academy and get in line!!!! Vista Outdoors has found a better sales campaign than commercial advertising.
-
I'd determine a price and post them here. If they don't sell, then try plan b. There are some good folks to deal with on this forum, and bring much less drama than other places you could sell. I still haven't figured out why everything interesting ends up in Memphis though. They need to move it closer to middle Tennessee.

Similar. Same ammo fired from a comparable firearm.

Let your Senators and Representatives know about it.

Patient Brings Concealed Gun Into MRI, Gets Shot In the Buttocks

I’ve no idea what happened. It would be nice if once a reporter actually did some investigating. -

How does a magnet ignite a round? Perhaps pulling the firing pin/striker forward? -
Make no mistake. It is a tax. Anything else involved is designed to discourage you from buying firearms.

I really don’t think much either way of her. I’m just sick of seeing her on the tv every time it’s on. Not really her fault though. I feel the same way about British royalty.
