  1. What happened to the other crazy guy that used to perpetually sue the state and run for governer? I can't remember his name.
  2. Me too! I couldn't put my finger on it. Thanks.
  3. I'll bet that got the attention of the other little birds that were pestering the deer.
  4. Walt, Did you see the engraving on that shotgun? It isn't a basic shotgun. Big money is added as the guns become more embellished. A standard field gun might only bring $1100, but this one should be much more.
  5. Those look great. I always enjoy someone's homemde crafts. Thanks for sharing.
  6. I'll be interested to find out if the gun was ever turned in.
  7. The OP broke the law. The officer enforced the law. The officer has a gun, a bage, and the court system on his side. All I'm saying is why the need to be a jerk about enforcing the law?
  8. He "did nothing wrong?" :shake:I know we're not allowed to make any disparaging comments on this board regarding the almightly LEO, but how much of this crap are you willing to give them a pass on?
  9. 5.11 Tactical Leather Casual Belt 1.5 inch CLOSEOUT These are on sale for $4.95. Fits your under $50 criteria. If I weren't so big around, I'd buy several.
  10. I've met many fine marksmen at gun stores. They really thin out when you get to the range.
  11. What exactly are you wanting? A double layer gun belt, or just a heavy single layer belt? How far is it around you?
  12. Thanks for posting. That would be worth up in the thousands, but I have no idea how much it would go for. 20 guages seem to bring a premium over 12s and 16s. I sorry I can't be of more help, as I wouldn't know how to go about finding out why your friend's background check was denied.
  13. Sounds like BS to me. Try and schedule a trip to the range with them so they can exhibit their exceptional ability and watch the excuses ensue. You did some very, very good shooting.
  14. $3-$5 grand would be my guess, assuming it is all original.
  15. A fine example of a classic handgun and woth quite a wad as well. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Where's the line between thievery and getting a bargain?
  17. You should have shot him more than once.
  18. You should have shot him more than once.
  19. I've read many times the warning that says when changing any component including primer brands, start at the minimum load and work up from there. If you own a chronograph, you might be able to see a miniscule difference between primers, but without one, I can't tell any difference.
  20. Now quit teasing us......I want to see the J.P. Sauer!
  21. Ejectors gently lift the unfired shells while throwing smartly fired shell. Extractors gently lift either. It is more likely to have extractors. It belongs to him and he can do as he wishes, but altering the original finish will diminish the value of the shotgun by at least half.
  22. Yes. I don't own a horse, but I liked the scabbard. You can also just carry it.
  23. I've always wanted to try one of those Lee hand presses just to satisfy my curiousity. I haven't been curious enough so far to buy one however.
  24. Westmoreland is home to a pretty good bbq joint as well. Have you tried Uncle Dave's?
