I would generally agree with this statement but there is a small flaw in it. The way our political parties work, they reward extremism and employee purity tests. The country isn’t split evenly between Republicans and Democrats. You increasingly have the Republicans on one end, the Democrats on the other, and then a whole mess of folks bigger than either of those other two groups stuck in the middle. It wouldn’t be completely out of the realm of possibilities for the right person to come in and gather up those people under the umbrella of “those other folks are bloody lunatics!”

Knowledge. You don’t know what you don’t know and can’t compensate for a problem you’re not aware of the nature of. Folks just think they can’t shoot, not that there is a bio-mechanical reason

Not quite. It is extraordinarily effective at transferring wealth from the poor and middle class in the first world to the wealthy in the third world.

As an arm of the UN, I don’t support us funding it on general principles. I fully believe we should withdraw from the UN and expel it from our shores as an actively hostile entity and threat to US interests and national security.

Yes. I was aware of that. I’m also aware that even though he is in office as a Republican, he identifies as a libertarian. I imagine this political opponents don’t get too mouthy for fear that he will literally choke slam them.

I have a feeling this thread is going to have a big impact on my shooting.

Yeah, I’ve tried Gentleman Jack. My MIL gave me some a few years back for Christmas. It was terrible. I just don’t like bourbon/TW. The closest I can manage is that I really like the spiciness of a rye (Bulleit is my favorite) in an Old Fashioned. Of course that’s just correcting a bastardization since an Old Fashioned was originally made with a rye before folks started subbing in bourbons after prohibition ended.

The gunsmith I use, Old South Restorations, did some work for Yeager and was featured on his channel. He suggested they start their own YT channel because their primary focus is on restoration of classic and antique firearms and folks would watch that kind of work. I tend to agree so thought I’d share their channel. They’ve only put up a single intro video so far, but I’m looking forward to seeing what they put up.

My tastebuds start calling for my gag reflex whenever I try to drink a bourbon. Luckily, there’s plenty of both of our preferred spirits for us to kill our livers with.

TFBTV got one of the reintroduced R-51s. Their results weren’t really any better than the old recalled ones.

Yeah, I realized my small (but super important) mistake with the model name.

Is this an old, small, steel .32 or .380? Or is it a polymer 9mm? If it’s the former, it’s an awesome little piece of history. If it’s the latter, I’m sorry to be blunt, but it’s a turd that you should forget exists.
-
Is it an original R51?

Defense of a third party is specifically mentioned in the law as a justified use of deadly force. So it is legally correct as well as morally correct.
