You’ve mentioned that solution before, but it’s a solution that ultimately only helps shareholders as the primary effect isn’t filling up positions, but driving down the wage point those positions can be filled at.

Works in regular .308 mags AR mags.

Nope. Steel base, brass body, connecting washer. It’s designed to stuff something with similar energy to a .30-06 with 6mm ballistics into a .308 case.

This is going to be interesting.

OK, that was me. I fat fingered the destination on my phone. Thank you for catching that and bringing it to our attention.

New ATF rules dropped today.
Chucktshoes replied to Chucktshoes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
No, a firearm will have only a single part declared as the serialized part and all previously determined firearms will stand as is. The lower receiver on an AR, the upper on an FAL or 91. A new design brought to market will have to have the ATF declare what is to be the serialized part. That was unclear in the summary, but laid out very clearly in the text of the rules. -
I’m reading through and digesting it now. https://www.atf.gov/rules-and-regulations/definition-frame-or-receiver

3 killed at gun store/range
Chucktshoes replied to White Goodman's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I saw that this morning. Absolutely tragic. There is often a belief that a range or a gun store is a safe location from robbery. Sure, burglaries happen, but we tell ourselves that someone would be foolish to attack a gun store that has staff that is likely armed. I suspect that as a general rule, folks have just been quite lucky on that front up until now. Working at one of these places doesn’t make you safe, it makes you a target. There is absolutely a level of self selection with regards to the type of people that would make this type of play. The kind of robber that’s going to go after your local convenience store isn’t likely to try something like this and the numbers are that there are more of that type. I don’t see there being great numbers of people who would make this type of play, the problem is is that those who will are the hardasses. I think it’s pretty safe to say this was most likely not done by a lone gunman. This was a crew and in Georgia if they’re caught they’re all up for the death penalty. I hope these guys are caught quickly because I strongly suspect they’re not gonna stop here. They’ve already got capital murder charges most likely hanging over their head so there’s a good chance that more people could die before they’re done. -
We kept trying to tell folks here that it was a deal. I imagine you aren’t the only one realizing they missed out.

We lost reciprocity with Minnesota when 18-20yo military folks were added to permit eligibility.

Are forced reset triggers actually legal and for how long?
Chucktshoes replied to MemphisStuck's topic in Long Guns
It is something that may superficially appear to be a duck, but does not meet the statutory definition of a duck. Allowing unelected bureaucrats to change and reinterpret the law to suit their whims does not result in more freedom for anyone. It was a bad precedent set with the bumpstock ban and exactly what those of us who decried it at the time warned everyone about. This is incremental groundwork that’s being laid that can eventually allow for the reclassification of modern semiauto rifles as machine guns. The ATF is going to keep pushing as far as they can unless they are stopped. -
It appeared to be well made without an excess of rough machining, but I didn’t shoot it so I can’t say too much.

I held one in my hands over at Cypress Creek Outdoors in Dyersburg a few weeks back. So they’re out there, just not in great numbers.

So far there are no reports substantiated that they have taken any direct action against Rarebreed. I find that very curious. -
Poor Mans Benelli M4? Horrible Clone? or a Smoking Steal?
Chucktshoes replied to Magiccarpetrides's topic in Long Guns
No, that’s the smarter man’s M4. -
I don’t have one. I’ve only gotten to shoot one. It’s on my short list of desired guns though.

1000% worth the money. I like the LTT more than the Wilson Combat 92.

Dog friendly Rental Home w/a Garage Needed. Nashville area
Chucktshoes replied to Ridin1's topic in General Chat
Good luck my man. It took us months to find a place and we don’t live in a market nearly as hot with such a low supply as Nashville.
