No, I hadn’t. That’s interesting. It appears to be a good piece of circumstantial evidence. I hope it means they are on the right track. To be clear though, I have zero belief that they are, or suspicions that they aren’t. I can only wait, and hope time will reveal the truth.

American made AKs have definitely struggled. (Especially anything made stateside by Century. They need to stick to importing.) The PSA GF3s have gotten mostly positive reviews, so we will see if I got a good one or not. Regardless, there was no way I was going to be able to put enough rounds down range with that awful poly furniture. It wasn’t just ugly, it didn’t feel good while shooting it.

The key is will it be a reasonable price? The biggest issue I see with the modern pickup market is that they’re all too damn expensive. I think a small pickup in the area of $15k-17k msrp would sell like gangbusters. I miss when a pickup was a utilitarian vehicle for the blue collar working man instead of a high end luxury status symbol.
