And with that I remember that discussion. The determination was that NFA items can be listed in the regular classifieds section, just label them clearly and hold to all NFA laws. -

No, I hadn’t. That’s interesting. It appears to be a good piece of circumstantial evidence. I hope it means they are on the right track. To be clear though, I have zero belief that they are, or suspicions that they aren’t. I can only wait, and hope time will reveal the truth. -

Right or wrong, whenever I hear “Person of Interest” I think of Richard Jewell. I know we love speculating our asses off here, but it’s a solid idea not to make any hard judgements until time and evidence have time to bring clarity. -

Another really great tweet thread on the subject. -
It’s a shame that Apple has always dismissed the gaming market. I’ve got the wife a new MacBook with that new M1 chip on order. I’m looking forward to seeing what it can do. It’s supposed to be a crazy powerful chip.

Even a next gen gaming console is several years behind current gen PC gaming machines.

Maybe it’s just supposed to look like terrorism? You might laugh at me, but I wonder how many places of high monetary value are now with disrupted monitoring? Maybe I’ve got too much Nakatomi Plaza on the brain? -

Yeah, I looked for him and couldn’t find it either. I know that used to be a feature for benefactors. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

American made AKs have definitely struggled. (Especially anything made stateside by Century. They need to stick to importing.) The PSA GF3s have gotten mostly positive reviews, so we will see if I got a good one or not. Regardless, there was no way I was going to be able to put enough rounds down range with that awful poly furniture. It wasn’t just ugly, it didn’t feel good while shooting it.

I think this was a check to see if the public was still asleep like they have been for the last 4 years Unpopular opinion time: The only reason Republican voters paid attention and Republican legislators got involved is that Biden is President elect. If Trump had been re-elected, this would have sailed right on by like the bump stock ban with a lot of excuses being made why its some 4D chess maneuver or just plain not a big deal.

My PSA AK was languishing in some terrible OD polymer furniture from the factory. Found some proper Russian furniture to make it a proper AK.

And now I know why I had no idea what he was talking about.

Looks like you ordered a 42! Congrats!

Spam texts are increasing, as are funky calls. Got a robocall where the machine went on to ask if I would like to accept the call from the number that was calling me. Nooooope.

Not when it’s a diesel swap. Especially that particular engine. That Cummins R.28 is a wicked awesome crate. All the low end torque of a diesel with the get up and go of a gasser.
-
That’s sexy. You know what would make it extra sexy? Swapping a Cummins R2.8 into it.

I guess I’ll have to continue to be happy with buying 20+ year old pickups.
-
The key is will it be a reasonable price? The biggest issue I see with the modern pickup market is that they’re all too damn expensive. I think a small pickup in the area of $15k-17k msrp would sell like gangbusters. I miss when a pickup was a utilitarian vehicle for the blue collar working man instead of a high end luxury status symbol.
