The conclusion of the Pacific is next Sunday evening. I expect the last episode will reflect on the period after the war when those that served try to return to civilian life. Since there hasn't been a post relative to the series since March 29 which would have been right after part 3 is it safe to say that members here have lost intrest? I personally have watched every part for the historical persecutive but haven't been able to connect to the character like the ones in BOB. Comments?

When I first read the title on the thread and saw NE I thought NE United States not NE Tenn. I thought we a had a Yankee among us but we accept defectors so Welcome.

I received a call from the NRA last Friday (5-7) evening at home. I actually don't recall providing my home # but they have it. They were soliciting members to go to Charlotte for their meeting. The caller ID showed 800 service but I was expecting a call from my wife so I answered without looking. The caller was a live person as opposed to a recording and a few seconds into the call I relized what she wanted and stopped her by politely telling her I would be attending. She paused briefly and then continued her pitch. I stopped her again after several seconds again and again advised I would not be attending and thanked her for call. She then asked me to renew my membership which I advised her that I had just renewed.

I was a fan of Jag and Catherine Bell (now on Army Wifes) who played major McKinsey before it went off the air. NCIS was a spin off from Jag and it's one of the few (maybe only) shows my wife & I actually try to watch. I agree both women Abby & Ziva are totally hot. Thing that bugs me about this and a lot of crime shows is how the computer geek can hack into a camera anywhere in the world and have a visual on a shoot out or obtain some obscure piece of information, that there is no way would ever been anywhere on line, from some perps childhood 50 years ago with 5 key strokes and in a matter of 10 seconds.

Went to Wally World (Oak Ridge) during lunch for a few things and picked up a 100 count box of WWB 9mm for $23.97. More ammo than I have seen in years. Shelf was almost full expect for .45 & .380. Price on the orange & black boxs of 9mm has dropped to $12.97.

Too funny. Maybe the owner could put in a coin slot and make it like a dogie pay toilet.

To funny that this thread appears. I was thinking of starting the exact same topic I just had not decided on the answer yet. To much to choose from.

My whole family is mixed. Wife went to UF graduated from UT but considers herself a Gator . I am UT grad and loyal. Son-in-law UF grad. One daughter UT & Ark. grad one is a Ala. grad and grand-daughter started Ala in fall. BTW Great critter pic he almost looks likes he's getting ready to speak.

I used CCA. I took the intoductory class and then took the HCP class and was pleased with both. Kent Brown taught the HCP class however he is no longer with CCA. Since then I have also taken the Advanced Carry class which was taught by Rick Newstrom and he did well also. Not having taken the class anywhere else I can't compare it but I was pleased with CCA.
