  1. No bug... Primary with no extra mag... unless traveling a long distance, or out of state. Yeah... I know... weird logic and all.
  2. I still want a cricket back to hang in a glass box above my drawing table with a note on it that says "In case of Zombies... Break Glass."
  3. Left over pizza... pineapple, cheese, and ham... cold.
  4. Cool Spring's American Signature is posted as well. When we were in there a few months ago I wanted to confront them about that and ask for more information on there security measures and what there plans were in case of trouble. Did they employ armed security guards, olds guys with mace, sales people with cellphones to call 911, mall ninjas ready to spring from the ceiling at a moments notice... or maybe a plan to blast "Love Train" by the O'Jays from the store speakers to help diffuse any hint of trouble. Needless to say... my loving wife didn't want me to start anything. Noting that a. Most people don't get my sarcasm... b. Although I might make a valid point, I would suffer in the long run by embarrassing her like that. LOL!! so I didn't say anything... :-\ I suck.
  5. Hearing stuff like that pushes me more and more toward them. Even though I have been reading great things about the crossbreed holsters in another post. I think I'll splurge and try for the M-Tac one.
  6. Grew up Baptist... now Church of Christ. (My decision. Wasn't very popular with my family.)
  7. Man... I'm all shades of envious right now.
  8. I think is as long as you don't say... "This doesn't have anything to do with that dead hooker does it?" when they first walk up, then it should go pretty smooth. ... let them be the one to bring up dead hookers.
  9. That would make a good post. It would be neat to see just what is out there at a decent price for something consumer grade. Hey Todd... What kind of rigs and stuff are you seeing coming through your classes? (Out of curiosity.)
  10. I for one hope everything comes together before CIS defensive carbine class comes up. I'd love to read a review from you of both the class and how your new SBR does. I'm still wanting an SBR pretty bad, but my funds for it has been diverted for now.
  11. Thanks for the heads up Joe!
  12. <bump> Also how many of you guys are using these systems in your ARs? Do you have any problems? http://www.22lrconversions.com/atch-pg.htm
  13. I have worked both in a union, and not. I have served as an acting union stewart on occasion, and was asked to be part of the negotiating team for our next contract. I see no problem with "organized labor"... which is what it is. Negotiating terms of employment as a group. A set of rules are established that both sides agree on. The company can then plan fiscally for the next 5 years (or the life of the contract) and the workers have a set procedure for handling disputes, promotions, medical, etc. A good administrator (for a company) knows full well what they can and can't do under the terms of the contract. Same as the employees. I used to have arguments with my cousin in my twenties about unions... me for, him against. Now... he's a Union President. In my experience the best situation I have seen is working without a union, but with the "vote" always around the corner. Management has always seemed more attentive to the employees and workers are able to have some respect for the employers. Again just my opinion... but broad statements about unions being either "good" or "bad" are just too general. Sure the "you can quit and move" argument is there... but for a coal miner it may not be that easy to pack up, move a family and pick up a system admin job. Everything has it's own set of circumstances... When you have people setting up policies that effect a huge company... it's pretty easy to make some unethical decisions when you don't ever see the guys clocking in, or the pictures of their kids on their desks. Again just my opinion... no better than anyone elses.
  14. Every time I see an ATM machine I can't help but think "Watering hole". Then those old "Mutual of Omaha" old wild life shows (you know... the old guy, Marlin Perkins would narrate while "Jim" got the crap kicked out of him by stuff in Africa.) run through my head where the gazelle walks to the edge of the water and is attacked suddenly by a croc or something like that.
  15. I don't know Joe... but I'm sure someone else on here should. (After all we have a bunch of top notch dealers on here. )
  16. For what it is worth here is my opinion... which is no better than anyone else's. If I were wanting something accurate at longer distances and maybe looking to add some basic accessories I would go with the Sig. If I wanted something compact (without having to goto the expense of the SBR route.) and were wanting it for shooting more on the average of 100 yards and closer I would lean toward the FS2000. One could argue that the FS2000 could be worth more than you paid if the Gun climate was to turn bad after the election. Being a bullpup type design, and taking AR mags I would think it would be a natural to be on "the list" of evil things "good" people shouldn't own. I have never held the SIG nor a FS2000. When side by side the FS2000 catches my eye more. However I would want to hold one and if I could fire a FS2000 before I made the decision. (If possible.) But that is just me... You're money. Buy the one you'll have the most fun with or will fill YOUR needs the best.

    Gun budget shot

I shot a DS a while back is more than impressed with it. Amazing little snubby with an incredible trigger! Congrats!
  18. While that is true... it yet so hard!
  19. BWAHHhhhhahahaha!!!!
  20. db99wj - THANKS for posting the picture. You can't see it at all. Plus it gives me a really good idea of how the clips look. Not really noticable at all. I don't think anyone would give them a second glance. 10Kilr - I had looked at the infidel holsters as well. Really glad you like yours and that your carrying a USPc as well. I may lean more toward it simply because your currently using it with no problems. Overall what I am hearing from you guys is... • Above average customer service • Excellent workmanship • comfortable • Configureable and adjustable to your situation With all that considered, if I have to come up with some extra money it sounds like money well spent. Thanks for all the advice. (To me) This is one of the best strengths of the TGO board. You can generally get a quick, honest answer to a question based on a user's personal experience. And even if you don't agree with it... you can still see where they are coming from. +10 TGO Community!

    HK's P7?

That is one gun I hope to own one day. I have herd nothing but great things about them. It seems you have to "shoot one" to see for yourself how sweet they are.
  22. I'm thinking of getting an IWB holster and "Tungsten" has gotten me looking at the Comp-tac ones. (So yeah... I blame him.) Anyhoo... Here is the deal, I have a USPc, am 5'7 150-160 lbs. (depending on if I have just eaten at a chinese buffet) and enjoy long walks on the beach, and indoor ranges. It is a little tricky for me to conceal my pistol in the summer. (Would like to get a sub compact glock later.) I usually just wear a little bulky shirt to cover it. Any suggestions? I would like to keep the price range around $50 bucks if possible so I can get it sooner. Here is one that I am looking at... Is it any good? Or would I be better off saving for a different model? http://www.comp-tac.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=28&products_id=44 So any suggestions? Or reasons you like what you have? (Also open to other brand suggestions as well.) Thanks in advance...
  23. As a "Dad"... it seems to work very well for me and my needs.
