  1. Wow. I've heard there was such a thing as "Smokeless Powder Prejudice" but never knew anyone who had been subjected to it... much less a whole group.

    Sig P6

Are they the old "225's?" just renamed? I remember friends always talking about how good the 225's were.
  3. I suggest making it "yhel0tharbuttsekz". You know... add a number in there to make the IT Security guys happy.
  4. I would think the best thing to do would be to stop visiting the ".org" site and visit just the ".net" site until the Lawyers are finished with everything. The only reason someone would go to such lengths to "steal" the site would be they see some value in reselling it later. That price would be negotiated based on the site's traffic over the past. A sudden drop in traffic would make the site worth less to a buyer. (IMHO)
  5. Make that "Palin/Creeky 2012!"
  6. Not saying he is "right"... just that I respect his view... even though I don't agree with it. In other words... I respect the time he has put into doing the "math", but believe the product of his "Math" is wrong.
  7. TripleDigitRide, I admire the fact that you seem to have put a lot of thought into your decision as well as posting what YOU think. That is awesome and admirable. Everyone has different priorities and different views. While I don't share your view you expressed, I do respect it for what it is... your view and I'm glad you made it known. You'll get no static from me. When we all go into vote we will be making decisions. Hopefully they will be well thought out ones, where the options have been weighed and it's a choice we can live with after we push the button. I have felt "voters remorse" before and it left a sour taste in my mouth. One that only goes away after the next election.
  8. Does anyone know where you can find a transcript of the full exchange between Obama and "Joe"?
  9. I signed up over there but I may never post over there. Just felt like I should.
  10. Earth Tones... I'm viewing on a calibrated Apple Cinema 20" Monitor. (We keep them calibrated so we can load different SWOP print simulations.) Also views as Earth Tones on my old iMac (not calibrated) at home as well. Viewing both with "Camino" web browser, which is based off Mozilla.
  11. Exactly! Like social security... never designed as a retirement tool, only as some sort of a net to keep you from slamming your butt against the ground. Seems like I read somewhere that was the main fear when it was being put into place... that it would become a crutch for a section of society.
  12. If people who were on Government assistance, that is the ones that were milking the system, had to go knock on the doors of their neighbors up and down their neighborhood and had to look them in the eye and ask for the money... I think there would be a different attitude about government assistance. Both by the receiver and the giver.
  13. I think those are pistol ranges, and he is looking for a place to shoot rifles. (Could be wrong though.)
  14. Ditto... I came to the same conclusion when researching to get an SBR myself. (Now it looks like all that research was in vain. Had quite a set back.) If your building a 9mm AR, that changes things. Even a shorter barrel than 10" is pretty neat and interesting.
  15. Dern!
  16. Alright... I'll bite. (Pun intended) Where did the shirts come from? Looks super cool!
  17. Ahhhh the age old question... how can I "carry" and remain "hawt" for teh ladies. That indeed was a huge problem in the past but thanks to the fine folks at both Federal and Sig Sauer that problem has been almost completely eliminated. In 1994 great minds came together to solve one problem, but ended up solving another problem at the same. The invention was the amazing .357 sig cartridge... and to a greater extent it's affect on the Female of our species. If you choose any firearm chambered in .357 sig you'll be able to wear it how ever you like with confidence knowing that the ladies will find you irresistible. In fact I would say you could duck tape an Uncle Mike's holster to your chest under a "wife beater" and the ladies would still swoon over you. On the other hand.... any other caliber will severely limit your options with the ladezzz. I hope I was of some help. *The .357 Sig's affect on women is well documented on the web, is plenty good enough for me.
  18. Food of the Gods! (No... seriously. It's what Thor "God of Thunder" eats for dinner. For real... I read it on a blog on the internet somewhere.)
  19. Until "anti" letters are written and a corporate policy is written, and legal signs are posted at all entrances. "Anti's" (unfortunately) out number permit holders... the best way to help the "pro-gun" agenda is to be polite, respectful, and discuss the issue in a rational manner. (IMHO)
  20. I've taken my little boys for years. We're skipping this year though. Reloading supplies... At best I used to see pulled .223 FMJ by the zip lock bag full. Last year there wasn't hardly anything. Tons of AR uppers, and guns. Both NFA and non. Basically it's just a gun show on steroids. We normally stay the whole day. My kids just love it an d they were super bumded out this year.
  21. LINK Not sure if the comment is true, or just posturing but here is what I have read before on the subject. Her 6 year old son has also been seen wearing a "gold gun" charm necklace in public. From the brief article... Angelina Jolie has revealed she keeps real Tomb Raider guns in her house - and she’s prepared to use them. The actress says she got the firearms after filming the hit movie, and she and partner Brad Pitt would be prepared to use them to protect their family. She tells the Mail On Sunday , “I bought original, real guns of the type we used in Tomb Raider for security. Brad and I are not against having a gun in the house, and we do have one. And yes, I'd be able to use it if I had to. “I could handle myself. I think there are certain combat skills that would come out.†===== Angelina Jolie shocked a whole plethora of her liberal Hollywood friends earlier this month when she took to the editorial pages of the Washington Post and made it clear that she supports the US Troops in Iraq and also supports their mission. Now she is teaching her oldest son Maddox to do the same. According to a report from OK! Magazine Maddox is making his parents proud by making packages that will be shipped to U.S. troops overseas. “He gets the other kids involved like an assembly line,†and Angelina insider tells OK! “Zahara loves to glitter and sticker the cards!†The friend says Maddox came up with the idea all on his own. “He’s growing up to dream big and thinks even the tiniest thing can make a big difference.†Maddox has fired off a fashion statement. The 6-year-old son of Angeline Jolie and Brad Pitt sported a gold gun charm necklace during a New Orleans bike ride with his family on December 18, Pitt’s 44th birthday. The boy has always had guns on the brain. During an October 28 spree at KB Toys in Sherman Oaks, California, mom bought him a Warrior Playset and a $34.99 Nerf Dart Rapid Fire gun. His parents also threw him a military-themed birthday party when he turned 6 in August.
  22. Reading things like this warms my heart. It it seems like I am reading things like this more :Dand more.
  23. Dude... it's a little ceasers pizza!
  24. Ohhhhhhh yeah... Little Ceasars pizza! Now that's some pizza I could "hit".
