  1. .22lr shares a common thread pattern with .223, .5x28. However, in some cases (Walther P22), the barrel is too small in diameter to properly thread so an adapter is required.
  2. My 77/22 with the Mite on it is hollywood quiet. If you use standard rounds then you can hear the sonic crack but you can't tell where. If you use subsonics, you can't tell its fired. Its a lot of fun. The glass on mine has to go though. Its hazy and crappy and stuff. It was on the rifle when I bought it.
  3. Something else to consider. Most bulk pack ammo will remain subsonic in the factory threaded version. it will save you from having to buy subsonics. I've got a few thousand suppressed bulk pack rounds through my 22/45TB and I've only had maybe 5 go supersonic. However, I don't mind buying subsonics and the hunter looks great. I've been thinking about getting one and sending it to one of the RFC guys to have it threaded.
  4. I just meant in your Ruger collection. This is my 77/22 bolt gun. And this is the 96/22 that I am still searching for. I'll have one eventually.
  5. I'm still looking for one of those unicorns
  6. You're missing a bolt action
  7. 30.06 ain't THAT expensive. And the BAR is my dream gun. One day! I felt what they did destroyed that gun. BLASPHEMY!
  8. I don't know. I feel like we could have tried harder. Maybe we should have used bigger guns instead of bb guns.
  9. Jerry The King Lawler is a known carcinogen.
  10. It looks like he may have put a shim on the end of the forearm that allows for less seam.
  11. A guy on RimfireCentral modded a wood stock to fit. Looks good.
  12. I sold my CZ so I should be able to get mine out of layaway this week. Can't wait to play with it some.
  13. .22 is probably the most versatile cartridge there is. .22 is perfect. And if you don't ever go camping or hiking then its not for you.
  14. I'm beginning to think you don't understand the purpose of anything. haha. This is a great option for a truck gun or woods gun. It takes up less space than a standard carbine because of the break down. Now, I didn't bring mine home yet, its in layaway but I got to fondle it a good bit. The bag is a pretty decent quality. The adjustment collar is very well designed, you won't ever have to worry about slop. The barrel looks to be a standard barrel with a longer, skinnier shank. The receiver has what looks like a removable collar. You can remove that and the v block and run it in a standard type carbine configuration. I think its well engineered overall.
  15. Fondled mine today. Really like it. I'll post up more when I get to a computer.
  16. They all got burned when they were rearsenaled.
  17. Walnut will rot. Blued steel will rust. This is marketed as a brush gun or woods gun. Something that you don't mind having out in the rain and whatnot. Seems a little thought would have answered your question before you asked it.
  18. Dealer on the Ruger forum already sold two for 319 shipped.
  19. Haha. I only had three Rugers with me this past weekend. The ones in the safe were pretty pissed when I got home.
  20. It appears that this is already shipping so I'm assuming that this was announced to distributors before they decided to stop taking orders. Could be wrong though. And if I am, they are dumb.
  21. There have been a couple of aftermarket takedown kits for the 10/22. Nice to see a factory version. I like the tension lock. Already got mine ordered. Gonna talk to a couple of custom shops as well to see if I can get the forearm bored out to .920 and the barrel turned into an integral barrel.
  22. I bought one of these from a store in Opry Mills a decade ago. http://www.smkw.com/webapp/eCommerce/products/Victorinox%26reg%3B/Victorinox®+SwissChamp®+-+Red+Composition/V5069R.html Don't remember who it was though.
  23. I like this SOOOOOO much more than Keltec's design. This was announced at SHOT 2008 but I just learned of it today. I'm really impressed by these videos. http://srmarms.com/s...nt.asp?idpage=2
  24. Read my disclaimer champ!
