  1. Have you called about it yet?
  2. From the story I read, the TV was purchased on Amazon's marketplace so it could have easily been a pawn shop or something or a store that happens to carry both.
  3. I'm back to my XM. Its weird going back and forth between this and the 560.
  4. I can't answer the trust question but yes to the form 1. CoC needs to be included always. And its only like three lines so its good practice to just include it regardless.
  5. Actually, if they noticed the error, it means that they finally got to you. If you sent in the CoC yesterday, I would expect that you will get your stamp back this month.
  6. Sounds like the Certificate of Compliance that you should have included in the original package. Is this the form? http://www.atf.gov/forms/download/atf-f-5330-20.pdf
  7. The 560 got new clothes last night.
  8. My ZT0560 knocked my XM18 out of pocket.
  9. The cryo is a great small knife. The blade is 2.75 inches so it's smaller than any xm. The cryo 2 will be 3.25 so slightly larger. Check one out if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed. As for the 560 vs XM, I find them both easy to use. The XM has a much heavier blade and uses only Teflon washers. The 560 has a lighter blade and rides on bearings. The 560 is easier for a beginner to flip but I have no problem getting full lockup out of either one. And thanks everyone for the compliments. My XM is my baby. It was my grail knife and I was lucky enough to get it at blade.
  10. The top one is the Zero Tolerance 0560. The picture is a bit deceiving as it looks to be the same size as the XM but its a bit larger. You can see that in a couple of the other angles. If the 560 is something you are interested in, pm me and I will let you know where you can get the best price on one.
  11. Got both of these in this week. Nice knives. Especially the 560. I took a few pics of them with my XM18.
  12. Two suppressors is the best option. But makers like Huntertown Arms and their Kestrel are coming out as take apart cans.
  13. I remember a time when people helped each other out just because. Something about a golden rule or something. Nowadays people are so self involved, they don't care about anyone else at all.
  14. All of the uber leet tactical operator mall ninja shooters out there might not like it but I sometime long for the way things used to be at the Shelby County public range. There was an RO that called hot or cold and kept an eye on everyone, always. It may have taken a little longer to shoot but it was much safer.
  15. Since you don't need fingerprint cards or CLEO signature, you wouldn't have to do any of this with a trust.
  16. I see a lot of questions pop up about how to do these in various places so I thought I would give a run down of the process for people in Shelby County. The first step should be to fill out as much of your forms as you can. You can download pdf's of forms from several sources but I prefer to have the ATF send me forms. I use their request site to order about 20 of whatever form I want so I have some extras. This is especially important for fingerprint cards since they must have the correct ORI number on them. http://www.atf.gov/forms/dcof/ Once your forms are adequately filled out, go to your bank or walmart and pick up a money order for 40 dollars. I'll explain why in just a second. After your leave the bank, take your forms and fingerprints to 201 Poplar, but not the court building. You will be going to the Shelby County Jail. The Poplar side of the building is faced with glass so so you will easily know which building it is. You are going to the R&I office. You will need to get a "No Wants/No Warrants" (background check) and the two fingerprint cards filled out here. This building is much more strict than the court building so leave your cell phone as well as your knives and guns in your car. I prefer to park at 201 Washington on the top level. Thats where all the cops park. The background check is 20 dollars and they only take money orders or cashiers checks. The fingerprint cards are 15 for the first card and 5 for each subsequent card. Also only payable by cashiers check or money order. Thats where the 40 dollar money order from earlier comes into play. You will have to wait a while for this part. In addition to handling paperwork for you, they are also handling paperwork for hundreds of criminals. Its best to get there early and you won't wait as long. Once you've gotten your print cards completed and your background check, you are going to take a hike back over to the court building of 201. Take the elevator up to the 10th floor. One side, you will see the MPD records office and across from that is the Sheriff's office. Take your Form 1 or Form 4 to the window along with your background check and just let the lady in the window know that it needs to be signed. She will pass it on to a Sergeant or Lieutenant and they will sign it and hand it back to you along with a letterhead saying that you have a clean background. Once, they wanted to ask me a few questions before they signed but that hasn't happened since. It's a pretty easy process but only if you know what to do the first time around.
  17. I prefer the black blade myself. But they come in coyote, black, od, tan, and grey.
  18. It is. But i've found it to be useful in daily tasks so far. And defensively, its like fighting with your hands.
  19. Que on RimfireCentral will thread your 10/22 and set the front site back for 80 bucks. He did my 77/22 and I'm happy with it.
  20. I know you carry a necker everyday and I just started as well. And I came across this one on the BF exchange. Its been a great necker so far. Its light enough that I forget about it. And I love the ergos on it. I love it. Its a little pricey if you compare it to like a becker bk11 or bk14. But compared to an ESEE, its not too bad since its a custom.
  21. As far as budget goes, my current favorite folder is the Ontario Rat 1. They are around 30-35 shipped, come in lots of colors and plain or serrated. I carried one for months and converted several people to them before I got my XM18. Highly recommend it.
  22. Thanks OS. The Fletcher is the new Operator 575. Its the replacement for the Bush Operator XL. Fletcher Knives is Dylan Fletcher from season 4 of Top Shot. I've known him for about 12 years. I got a chance to hang out a little with him at Blade Show and bought one of his knives. I'll likely buy more too. This thing really is a tank.
  23. I really like mine but I need to undo the knots. Once I untie the knots and mushroom the ends, it will be a great grip.
  24. BK14 BK11 BK17 Fletcher Operator 575 BK7 Hinderer XM18
  25. Haha. Per capita, the stats are somewhat similar.
