  1. He is certainly entitled to his own opinion. And I have no problem with that. What I do I have a problem with is his lack of factual information.
  2. Ruger announced this gun back on 9/15/2011. Very nice little revolver. Definitely on my short list.
  3. They probably skipped the patches to make the challenge more difficult, which worked in the case of Littlebrain.
  4. Seriously?
  5. Weapon is defined as a tool used with intent to harm. I have no weapons around me but alot of tools.
  6. Lets see. Marines use the Benelli M4. Classic is a Benelli stocking dealer. Seals use the Sig P226. Classic is a Sig stocking dealer. PD's use the M&P line and Glocks. Classic is a Smith and Glock stocking dealer. Colts, yep they stock those as well. M1A's in stock. Hell, they have a Knight's full ambi lower receiver in there. Seems like a lot of fudd (still don't understand the term). And as for any of them telling you to get a Mini14, do you know their name? Because I know for a fact that Chance, Mason, nor Greg would say that. As the shop's resident Ruger junkie, I wouldn't even say that (not that I work there). Chance is a marine and if he had his way, he would likely drive everyone towards the LMT MRP. Or is that a fudd rifle too? I don't know as I'm not a real OPERATOR (do I get extra credit for capitalizing the whole word?).
  7. Target stainless would likely be between 300-400 depending on condition.
  8. Arms fair only carries game changing mil equipment. They have huge contracts with all of the major spec ops units.
  9. I still haven't figured out the carbon series. I understand that they are polymer receivers but why? There really isn't a price savings. Weight savings is negligible in my mind. Why get one over a mil spec rifle?
  10. So what does that have to do with Classic Arms?
  11. They reopened the one in Southaven. Most people consider that to be good enough. Personally, I try to avoid driving that far.
  12. Same as always. Use the img tags. [img=image url][/CODE]
  13. Yep. And then Carl used it to kill walker Shane. However, they never addressed how Carl got it back to give it to Shane to give it to Rick to give it back to Carl.
  14. What is fudd?
  15. Not really alot at Arms Fair but its not bad.
  16. "Also, the firearm should be identified as required in 27 CFR 478.92 if it is sold or otherwise lawfully transferred in the future." Likely what I was going on. Basically, I feel that everything is always for sale. So why not go ahead and be on the safe side. I'll just ahead and put this giant disclaimer here. I am not an authorized representative of the BATFE or any legal resource. Anything I say can possibly be wrong. Do your own homework and don't blame me if you do something stupid.
  17. It doesn't have to be that intense. It could be as simple as having a customer walk in and ask about a project and then Will or Steph tells them that its legal but requires a couple of extra forms to be filed with the ATF and a 6 month wait.
  18. If the show is not geared towards gun enthusiasts, then they should spend even MORE time going over the legalities of everything. Because if they don't, then the casual fan is going to think they can legally do the same stuff. Then it makes us all look bad.
  19. I don't necessarily think they are though. I think they build automatics and stuff and spew misinformation about ownership laws. They make it look like people just walk out with autos. I'd like them to spend a couple of minutes every once in a while going over the proper practices instead of gettin hitched or playin with tannerite.
  20. Except noone is cursing their success. Look back at the reasons that I gave for me disliking them.
  21. I'm not up on the rules to that point. I wouldn't know what to tell you.
  22. Yes. As a manufacturer (even for personal use), it has to have a serial number. If you make one for yourself, you have to engrave your name, location and serial number.
  23. You can make them for personal use. If, a couple of years later, you decide to sell, then thats legal. But you can't make them with the intent of selling them.
  24. Why can't you? Its perfectly legal to make your firearms. Its the same as buying an 80% receiver and finishing it. You just can't make it full auto.
  25. Yep. Glenn needs to get over the love thing and accept it for what it is. Then if he feels he needs to be married or whatever, just say the words and move in Maggie's room.
