  1. Thanks guys. Willis, where are you at?
  2. Made a video about it last night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHaCItbmTxM
  3. Here are a couple more pictures. The blade is D2 (if memory serves) and the handles are titanium. Its just a regular old frame lock. Two pieces of titanium and a piece of steel. The blade rides on bearings. Very simple knife but very nice!
  4. A very nice (one of kind if not mistaken) Blast 2. This knife is incredible. Its enormous in size and feels incredibly overbuilt without being too heavy. The nice tumbled finished is carried from the handles onto the blade and really makes this a great EDC piece (its been in my pocket since Friday). The grinds are incredible and the exaggerated clip point really makes the blade unique. Its comfortable in every position and flips like a dream. Its rock solid in every regard and locks up like a vault. There just hasn't been anything about this knife that I don't like. I'm planning to do a better photoshoot and a video on this knife in the near future.
  5. I got to play with the ZT9 this weekend at the KAI booth.  Its incredible.  Its on my shortlist but there is a lot of stuff on that list.  I will have one!
  6. Full tang - full width runs full length of handle Tapered tang - narrows (width wise) over duration of handle Hidden tang - smaller than blade stock and hidden under or behind handles Partial tang - doesn't run full length of handle     Technically, a tapered tang is still a full tang.
  7. The ZT 9! I want one something fierce!
  8. No reason to hesitate with RMJ.  Some great guys!
  9.   How easy is that to remove so the suppressor can cool?
  10. A few weeks back, I took my 700 to the range and put about a hundred rounds through.  It was the first time shooting all suppressed.  After about 15 rounds or so, I started to notice the heat mirage.  Looks like its time for a wrap.  What are the rest of the TN guys running?
  11. My checked was cashed on the 22nd as well (cleared yesterday).  Form 1 SBR
  12. Vic Classic Vic Rambler Vic Minichamp   All available in both alox and cellidor.
  13. Not pissed.  You don't have a pet peeve?  Something that just grinds your gears?   Well mine is three decades of people pissing on me because of where I live.  The joke is stale.  You are welcome to continue to use it.  But if you use it in reference to me, I will defend my city.
  14.     Of course its a joke.  Its always a joke.  But after 30 years, I'm tired of hearing it.  Get some new material.
  15.     You don't know anything about where I live.  I have lived in Memphis my entire life and never been a victim of violent crime.  I am situationally aware and don't put myself in positions where bad things could happen to me.   I do have friends that have had issues but they put themselves in dangerous areas at dangerous times.  I have friends in other places (all over TN, TX, and other states) with similar stories.     Regardless of what you think, crime is everywhere.
  16. George Zimmerman deserves nothing more than what he already got.  If he didn't want the backlash from all of this, he should have thought about that when he chose not to follow instructions from the 911 operators and to continue following the kid.   While George Zimmerman may have been found not guilty of the crimes he was charged with, he was guilty of being an idiot and PUTTING HIMSELF IN A BAD SITUATION.
  17. I say Blur as well.  Great knife.
  18. Burch is top notch. And a great guy to boot. I'll be entering every lottery I can until I score one. Maybe I can get on his books next go round. Plus he has a run of mid techs coming soon.
  19. The 777 is a grail for me.  I'll likely never luck up on one but I've been lucky enough to fondle one.   Its truly an incredible piece.
  20. I have loved this knife since it was announced last year.  Unfortunately, with G5 coming up, I'm not in a place to get one right now so I'm going to miss the boat on it.  Its a shame too because I'm missing on every ZT that I want.
  21. Dave is top notch!
  22. The Phantom is a great can.  I have the stainless version which is a little on the heavy side but I shoot it from a bench.  POI shift is negligible and repeatable and I didn't pay a grand for it.  Suppression is great.     I wouldn't bother with the silencerresearch site personally, as they are out of date on most stuff and you can get the same or better information for free from other places.
  23. I'm gonna say don't do that.  A 9mm can will most likely block the sights of a 22 and it will be really front heavy.
  24. I love my phantom but the mite has gotten on my last nerve.  I'm fine with the suppression but after having to make my own tool and use a vise to take it down, I lost it.  I'm going to be sending it in for a retrofit.  K baffles here I come.
  25. I need to remake this video with better lighting and camera work but its really not that hard.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHVOnNS0_Y8
