I ended up taking several semesters at a community college in upper east TN (nestcc) and transferred the credit to ETSU. Both schools were quite a bargain at the time. This was 10 years ago, but I agree with the comments above... the degree is worth more than the school name. I took a BS degree from ETSU to get my first job. After that my work experience landed my current job and I've been trucking along since. Unless you have a full ride scholarship to Vanderbilt I would consider the community college to 4 yr university route.

Yeah, I was treated that way the last time I was in there. I walked out leaving $850 worth of merchandise sitting on the counter. The guy stomped off in a huff because I was asking some questions about said merchandise. So I left. Hope I don't have a restocking fee if I ever go back in there. . Decent range if you need to shoot but prices can easily be beat online. Yes, I'm all about spending local dollars but if mine aren't good enough to your business to merit minimal customer service I will take them elsewhere.

I'd have to echo TGO David's recommendation. I think in the same area of "eight is enough" is another cottage called "almost heaven". It's large but the view back across Wear's Valley is amazing. We invited some friends from Wisconsin to stay with us there a few years ago. They now live here in Maryville.

+1 for Mr Baker. Especially larger caliber semi's. 1 round in the mag the first time. Great safety move and gives you a chance to talk about the recoil, sound, etc. She'll know what to be expecting on the next round.

Since I can't afford to do any dealing with SgtRutledge on his Kimber CDP at this time, I'll be fashioning a Springfield XD45C IWB this fine Fall day. Heading to the mountains today with the family. Took the class with several guys (n gals) from work. The first wave of folks to complete the process received theirs I 4 - 6 weeks. I'm right at 6 weeks and still waiting on mine. I've heard that TBI began helping at some point and there's some speculation that the took part of the stack of pendings... Not so much first in first out. I would plan on 90 days and hope for 45. Use some of the wait time to get some. practice in and study up on TN gun laws. Good luck!!!
