I am looking at getting a 1911 for Christmas. -Around $1000 - I am leaning towards the darker colored 1911s like the TRP and the Remington R1 Enhanced. -I am considering the R1 Enhanced bc they are going for around $800. -I know it's not a darker color, but I was also looking at the Sig Scorpion. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes they are! My buddy is home on leave and he went today. He said it was the worst gun show he's been to. He said there was more gear than anything. I would have to agree.

I am currently in the market for a new semi auto shotgun. I have done a lot of reading and video watching over the past few weeks. I figured I would see if anyone has had personal experience with any of these shotguns? I am wanting to stay with a 12ga for sure. What I use a shotgun for: -Turkey -Dove -Quail -Trap and sporting clays a lot! -Duck hunting sometimes -I watched the video of the Versa Max and how it will feed any type shell in any size. They have also said that it is a good light shooting gun for trap. I know there was a recall on the Versa Max but that they worked everything out! -I'll have to admit I don't know too much about the Super Vinci. My buddy has a Benelli and I really liked it. -My uncle has an 1187 and I shot my first turkey with it and have also shot some Clays with it also. I know some people may say that I would need two different shotguns for all of these jobs but I am confident it can be done with one! The reason I threw the 1187 in there is bc if it can do all the jobs of the others then it's a no brainier bc it's half the price! Thanks guys!
