  4. Details man. We need details! Congrats on the lower. If you are like me this will be the first of many.
  5. Roger that sir. And yes I can now see why serious riders choose the road over greenways.
  6. I went opposite of what you guys are doing. We went from Vancouver to Seward. I hope you planned at least a week to go around and see the real Alaska before you get on the cruise. Seward is nice to spend a few days in. Homer is cool too. Fairbanks is a tourist town IMO, but ok to see once. Try to get to Denali if you can. It took me three trips to AK to finally see Mt. McKinley on a clear day where you could actually see the summit. If you have any questions just ask and I'll try to help you out.
  7. Where did I ever say I think you should lose the right to ride on the road because there are greenways? I was just asking bike riders why you choose the road over the greenways. People riding bikes on the road don't make me uncomfortable at all. I could care less where you ride. If you are brave enough to ride out on the roads with some of these nuts driving then more power to you. Sure, I have been a little aggravated by some guy holding up traffic on his bike but I just wait my turn and go around them. It hasn't ever really been a big deal to me.
  8. I walk a lot of the greenways around Sumner/Robertson county and don't see many people on bikes. Any reason not to ride the greenways? It seems a lot safer than the road.
  9. So you guys would prefer the other option over going to the hospital and maybe having to go through a few test? I just can't see not going to the Dr. if you think something is wrong with your heart.
  10. The Safe House moved another member (Willis68) safe and he was pleased.
  11. Is there such thing as a "little" cardiac event? Why not go to the Dr.?

  13. A SOT is a Special Occupational Tax class. It is another tax that a 07 FFL pays to be able to manufacture NFA items. So unless you are an 07 FFL with an 02 SOT then you can't make your semi AK a machine gun.
  14. This is from the NFA handbook that you can read on ATF.gov. 9.5.3 Distribution of estate firearms. A decedent’s registered NFA firearms may be conveyed taxexempt to lawful heirs. These distributions are not treated as voluntary “transfers” under the NFA. Rather, they are considered to be involuntary “transfers by operation of law.” Under this concept, ATF will honor State court decisions relative to the ownership and right to possess NFA firearms. So, when State courts authorize the distribution of estate firearms to decedents’ lawful heirs, ATF will approve the distribution and registration to the heirs if the transactions are otherwise lawful. A lawful heir is anyone named in the decedent’s will or, in the absence of a will, anyone entitled to inherit under the laws of the State in which the decedent last resided. 170 18 U.S.C. 922(a)(4); 27 CFR 478.28 62 9.5.3.1 Distributions to heirs. Although these distributions are not treated as “transfers” for purposes of the NFA, Form 5 must be filed by an executor or administrator to register a firearm to a lawful heir and the form must be approved by ATF prior to distribution to the heir. The form should be filed as soon as possible. However, ATF will allow a reasonable time to arrange for the transfer. This generally should be done before probate is closed. When a firearm is being transferred to an individual heir, his or her fingerprints on FBI Forms FD-258 must accompany the transfer application. The application will be denied if the heir’s receipt or possession of the firearm would violate Federal, State, or local law. The law enforcement certification on the form need not be completed. The form should also be accompanied by documentation showing the executor’s or administrator’s authority to distribute the firearm as well as the heir’s entitlement to the firearm. Distributions to heirs should not be made until Forms 5 are approved. Executors and administrators are not required to have estate firearms registered to them prior to distribution to lawful heirs. 9.5.3.2 Distributions to persons outside the estate. Distributions of NFA firearms by executors or administrators to persons outside the estate (not beneficiaries) are “transfers” under the NFA and require an ATF-approved transfer form. Transfers of serviceable firearms to other entities or persons require an approved Form 4. Form 4 applications must be accompanied by the applicable transfer tax, and, if the transferee is an individual, the transferee’s fingerprints on FBI Forms FD-258. Applications will be denied if transferees’ receipt or possession of the firearms would violate Federal, State, or local law. Also, Form 4 applications to transfer firearms to individuals must contain the law enforcement certification of an appropriate law enforcement official. See Section 9.8 for further information on these certifications. Form 4 applications to transfer firearms to non-FFLs residing outside the State in which the estate is being administered will be denied. Form 4 transfers should not be made until the transfers are approved.
  15. The SPS Tactical is one of the best base guns to use to build a long range project. Replace the stock, add a good base and set of rings and decent glass and you're ready to go. The most important thing about long range shooting is spending a lot of time on the range. Practice is more important than gear.
  16. My Mom told a lady at her work that she would buy one box of each flavor. Sometime the next day she walks into her office to find a case of each variety. She laughed at the mix up and went ahead and bought them and just gave them to her nurses that work on her floor.
  17. Yes, it can be transferred to a heir tax free using a form 5.
