I couldnt believe this when I heard it today. I bet its going to mess up alot of cases that Dr. Levy testified in. He can kiss his career goodbye. I know a guy that works there and he has never said a bad thing about Dr. Levy.

The Double Star 1911's are very nice guns. I know the guy who builds every one of them. They are all hand fitted. The only problem they have is that they dont have the name recognition that Wilson and Brown have. If you are at the Nashville gun show at the Fairgrounds go to the Double Star/ J&T Distributing table and talk to Gary. He is the one who builds them. I have handled his personal gun and it is sweet. He might let you take a look at it if you tell him you are intrested in one.

The Springfield TRP Operator with the full length rail is bad ass. And they shoot as good as they look. Would be a easy decision for me.

I dont think a HISTORY book needs to talk about any kind of music. In history class you are supposed to learn about history period. Save the music talk for music class. Who comes up with this ?

The 5.7x28mm was designed to defeat body armour. And with the mil/LE ammo it does that very well. But during testing in gel they found out that the bullets tumble with they go into soft tissue, which in turn creates a bigger wound channel. The round is far from a gimmick. I know for a fact that US Marshalls are carrying the P90 sub machine gun. And I also saw on the History Channel that the Secret Service is carrying them too. I dont think that two of the most elite LE agencies in the country would carry a round that dosent work. My only complaint is that no other gun companies are making guns chambered in it. IMO the FN pistol is cool but way over priced. I heard rumors at SHOT a few years ago that Taurus was going to come out with a revolver chambered in it. But have seen nothing of it. If someone can get a pistol in 5.7 for the price of a Glock, XD, M&P I think it would be a very hot seller.

Yea I think a 1911 "fits" his character more. And am I the only one that thinks they made a bad choice when they picked his cowboy hat? I think it makes him look kinda goofy. Should have just went with a different, less cheezy style of cowboy hat.

Good gun for the money. Almost an exact copy of a Glock. As others have said, the trigger sucks. REALLY sucks. But hard to beat for under $300.

I enjoyed the first episode. Looks like it could be a good show. Lots of gun play too!

Yea looks like it will be good. I like most of the FX series.

Tell them how many people live there and if they want to know more to bring a warrant.

I like the Dan Wesson CBOB's and Springfield's lightweight Operator.

I went from toy guns to cap guns to paintball guns to real guns. Seems like a normal progression to me.

I thought the first show was good. You are kinda getting a feel for the characters and how they are going to play out. Lots of 1917 beltfed action too.

Def OC vs CC. It gets old.

^^^^I was going to say this. Very cool store to check out. Not many (if any) gun stores like it. I have been to Monument Valley, 4 corners, and the Grand Canyon. I personally liked Monument Valley better, very beautiful country out there. But if you havent been to the Grand Canyon I would probably go there first. Its one of those things you have to see before you die kinda thing. I would put 4 corners a distant third. Its just one of those things I did just to say I did it. Its just a brass plate that you stand on and be in all 4 states. Hope you have a good trip and take some pictures for us.
